And I mean really THANK YOU to all the members of this Ex Scientologist Message Board "You light up my life."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcuBUCCjB-M&feature=related
This sounds a bit to romantic for the relationship with a Message Board but I think it fits in many ways.
My deepest gratitude to all of you. Especially to my soulmates like Bee Sting, Larry and Whitedove. But also to all the Anons here - you did a very good job in supporting us Ex-Scientologists in the last two years. Thanks even to the still true believers like Alex - you are making me strong in working hard in order to get all the facts against Scientology very precise together.
I left this "Church" physically about 25 years ago but I'm still fighting against its abusive tentacles which ruined my family. I have many friends arround me which never had anything to do with this criminal cult. They are all listening to me with all possible understanding and they are helping me a lot but this is nothing compared to your comprehension and compassion. Only you can really feel what I feel right now in this fatal situation because you once felt or still feel the same or a similar pain.
Thank you for being here for me in this biggest struggle of my life.
"You give me hope to carry on...."
Much Love to all of you.

You made me cry :touched:
I didnt expect to see my name. I dont know really what I did to deserve such a touching message.
But what matters is you have friends here to support you.
The loss you have suffered really breaks my heart in more than one way.
I love you too and...dont make me cry too often! :bigcry:

Love you back Markus. You have helped us all by sharing Uwe's story. He has become a symbol of how cold the church is and how a brother's love transcends time and space. You are more than okay in my book.

Me too.
I took off from my life in LA in order to protect myself and my family from Scientology after committing the thought-crime of deciding to think for myself.
Emma and ESMB appeared as a way that I could reach out and do what I always wanted to do with Scientology: to fight for the freedom of thought and the right to live one's life in happiness.
To live the Good Life.
Socrates said that the unexamined life was not worth living.
ESMB has been a place for me where that might be possible.
Thank you.

Oh Whitedove. Here is one of your posts:
"When you are 'PTS' you have to find the 'SP'. And afterward, find out your own overts because Ron said that you become PTS cause you have overts. So, not only are you dealing with a disorder which you need to learn to understand, use tools to help you deal with it but Scientology dont have a clue of this and basically said 'its your fault'.
Dont get me wrong. I'm all for 'taking responsability'. When I know I have done something wrong. But with GAD or another disorder it is not someone's fault. It would be if I wouldnt try to do something about it and just victimizing myself with it but I dont. I Keep working, keep doing what I know I need to do to move forward. I really try hard. I know that.
So this line of 'you are PTS and have overts' makes me want to scream.
Its like someone saying he is a doctor without having the education related to it."
I think that not many people I know can imagine how my brother Uwe had to suffer through this crazy "Technology" of Mr. Hubbard but you can for sure.
And I love your Avatar and the Dixie Chicks too:yes:
Thank you for being here for me.

Oh, Markus! I love you and to you - my "Soul Friend" :cloud9:
Soul Friends
If we think of Life
as the ship in which we are sailing
on the sea of Time
Her belly would have stowed away
many secrets and treasures
of memories collected
from time that past.
So as long as the ship of Life
can sail through the storm of Time
we will ride along until
the storm passes and she can sail
safely to harbor
where the sun will shine
once again.
But if we shall walk the plank
for sins we have done
or drown in time
that never stood still
long enough for us to see
what life has to give.
If all we will ever have
are memories from a time past
these memories
will always be part
of the friendship we shared
and will only be forgotten
when our souls die.
When you look at time
gaze at the stars
or feel the warmth of the sun
remember me
a friend of your soul
A soul friend for life.

TL,
:bighug: for you. No need to apologize! :)
Summer time is a busy time. Sometimes I think the busiest few weeks of the whole year esp. for me living up north.
I so agree, there are so many beautiful people here. People full of energy, love and life. All in all, I have to say there is a common bond among us, whether we agree, disagree or any degrees in between, but we have all been visitors in one same place. And being in that "same place" is the very reason that brings us together here and now.
So, indavertently Scientology has brought more people together that would otherwise never have met. (Epic WIN!)
The more people Scientology continue to rip apart, the more people will join us, new frienships will blossom, bonds will grow and stronger, we become soul friends for life.:heartbeat:

If the Ex-Scientologists mouth off, it would probably good exposure to the world of insanity created BY LRH or a good dose of excellent SCI-FI because EX's apparently don't believe in Xenu, do they? Unless, you meant current Scio's and lurks? Don't matter!
I don't believe in Xenu, can be spelled X-E-M-U, the galatic rulah and I've mouthed off about these invisible BT's jumping around like annoying space flees or cooties, let alone about the once that jump from one "host" to another.
Did any really figure out what ever happens to those displaced BT's, the ones that are too degraded to find another host? Seems like Earth ops,:nailbiting: Teegeak is a cest pool of unwanted, shrugged off cest pool of BT's and wogs just don't know what these pesty little buggers were and came from:questions: . Never heard of a BT that actually disinegrated into oblivion forever, have you? They jump off or rather "blow" but where do they go? :confused2:
Oh, maybe I need to go and do another clay demo and really cram this once more, too many M/U's, must glib or slipped or something or rather. Maybe the SP's got to me. A little charged up here? Don't think so, my name is not Eveready, it's Bee Sting. :giggle:
So, let 'em! Come on in :punch:, tell us, tell us more about what these little flees do to us poor thetans :begging:how they are controlling us in our bodies. :waiting: Where's my popcorn, oh here it is! Wait, let me get comfortable :drama: Yeah! That's better! Now, on to some more research :spitcoffee: Why not?

I sure do! And the ones who don't. I love all the different perspectives here. (The only possible exception being when someone gets personal. . . .then I can get a little testy.) One of the very amazing things about ESMB is the variety of viewpoints; something that was never allowed in the CofS.

This should probably be taped
to your bathroom mirror
where one could read it every day.
You may not realize it,
but it's 100% true.
1. There are at least two people in this world
that you would die for.
2. At least 15 people in this world
love you in some way.
3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you
is because they want to
be just l like you.
4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone,
even if they don't
like you.
5. Every night,
SOMEONE thinks about you
before they go to sleep.
6. You mean the world to someone.
7. You are special and unique.
8. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.
9. When you make the biggest mistake ever,
something good comes from it.
10. When you think the world has
turned its back on you, take another look.
11. Always remember the compliments you received.
Forget about the rude remarks.
And always remember.....
When life hands you lemons,
Ask for Gin and and a mixer and call me over!
Good friends are like stars.....
You don't always see them,
But you know they are always there.
I would rather have one rose and a kind word
from a friend while I'm here
than a whole truck load when I'm gone.
Happiness keeps You Sweet,
Trials keep You Strong,
Sorrows keep You Human,
Failures keeps You Humble,
Success keeps You Glowing,
But your own faith keeps You Going
