Given the example of Kent Lam, even if he was doing these services full time, that would take months...how many months is anyone's guess.

Only 26 purif comps in a period of months, is very telling. In the early 90's for example, we were getting between 5 and 15 purif comps a week.

Pooks, thanks for posting. Besides one old mate listed there, I also recognise quite a few names of kids of old mates of mine ( :bigcry: )......what a bugger, but I know that would be expected!

Also from scanning the list, it seems that a good percentage is staff courses, or Intro courses.
Not many higher level completions.
Is this correct?
Over a period of several months.
Not much traffic for a major Org.

I'll take a stab and say this represents 4 months worth of comp.s.

It may be more; I doubt it would be less.

These used to come out every month with every second month having the comps list. But I doubt anyone could get through all that stuff in 2 months.

When you consider that this is two orgs combined that once had a combined total of almost 200 staff, it doesn't say much when there's been only 3 staff join and stay in that time-period.

Wonder how they're going these days?

I audited Miles Denness! His mum Rose was awesome. I would love to hear that he was out as well. There is still hope!

The guy Kent Lim went CLEAR shortly after I got back from Flag, last March, there were also a couple of others as well, also Taiwanese.

Linda Jefford is listed but is being audited privately and for no charge by her mother, Shirley Mitchell (she a Class VI auditor for day), so I don't know how she counts.

Following is list of the guys I know were definitely staff when I left in Sept 09, if you're interested.

Sarah Robson - 4 comps
Jonathon Treychenne - 3 comps - hadn't been near org for months before I left.
Crystal Ngau -6 comps - signed up for staff during this time.
Dustin Coleman - 1 comp - this doesn't include his routing out Sec-Check which I delivered. He's gone home to Canada.
Jenny Brischetto - 1 comp - lovely lady and not doing well physically, hadn't been in for months because of this.
Robert Brittain - 5 comps - joined staff during this period, also went Clear which isn't mentioned
Selena Cheng - 1 comp
Judy Chuang - 2 comps
Miraim Kortbawi - 1 comp - she was D/ED of Fdn when I left
Jennifer Lin - 1 comp - I also did her routing out Sec Check
Errol Hillier - 1 comp
Yan Sun - 2 comps
Nicole Bradley - 1 comp
Sabrina Connor - 3 comps
Jan Constable - 1 comp - another lovely lady - last heard she has also routed out.
Stephen Collen-Treagues - 2 comps
Paul Reid - 2 comps
Norm Fay - 5 comps - he's lovely, about 70 odd has been there forever and yet nowhere on the Bidge
Claudette Woodley - 1 comp - was coerced, again, into signing contract for stat push, lovely lady but doesn't even qual.
Nikolcie Katevskei - 1 comp
Sarah Billington - 1 comp
Carl Mhitarjan - 1 comp - he's the D/FBO MORE (CLO) for Syd org

I know many of the people on these lists. What is astounding is that some of these guys/gals are completing TRs &Objs or Grade 0 after being in Scientology for 10, 15, 20 years (in some cases, longer).

Yet they still swear by it to this day, as being so workable, perfect, bees knees etc. How workable can it be? Ten years in and just finished Objs?

Wow, that's very interesting information. I knew that staff were being counted on the comp lists but I had not idea to what extent.

There were 239 completions and 46 of them were completed by staff.

Besides the padded stats of putting staff comps on the list (which was never the case in the early 80s - the stat was PUBLIC completions), there are very few actual Grades completions. The majority of the completions are Purif or little stupid, cheap basic books courses.

The org is dying.

Especially when you consider the actual time frame of these completions; if Kent Lim/Lam went Clear sometime after March 09 then I'm guessing it's a summary of comps for the 09-10 Birthday game (or maybe not).

Miles Dennsess doing what? Low level shit. How long has he been around?
These people do not have the money even do do the upper end of the lower
org. They need an "End of Endless Introduction Courses Rundown".
The staff are regging them for the liitle available cash they have onto
little courses for a stat.

I sup'd Miles on his Solo Part One course in 1983. They've obviously thrown him back to the bottom of the Bridge again.

Jan Constable was the ED Syd Day before Caroline Collen was put onto it several years ago. And Linda Jefford used to be staff on Syd F when she was barely a teenager - her mom was the D E/D then.

Norm Fay has not been able to move anywhere as he's a former psych nurse who apparently had ECT - lovely guy who hangs around in the hope he'll get his Bridge some day.

Errol Hillier is the Fdn C/S and was a good mate of mine before he disconnected when he saw my Declare on the staff notice board.

IS Norm Fay the LRH Comm?

He wasn't when I was there, he was the examiner and used to help with qual cycles and word clearing in the courseroom. Actually he spent most of his time on reception and often if the examiner was needed the auditor had to hold reception while he was doing the exam.

Ah, Rose Denness. Many of you may not know that she is a Maori princess. Rose was auditing in Sydney Day Org when I was C/S there and she was very good. However, she will always be remembered to me at least, her insistence on taking a “Maori holiday”. This is the action of simply taking a day off when one feels like it. It happened sufficiently often that she would report directly to Ethics on the following day. It sure gave the D of P a problem, but somehow it worked out. I do have fond memories of the family of Dennesses.

Regards David.

Oh boy... what a sad post.
For me it appears the haunting of the 201 Castlereagh ghost just lingers and lingers. This is perhaps what it must be like when old forgotten soldiers revisit battlefields of ages past. But only to find a few old commrades are still there rallying around the shredded and mud trodden Flag.
This may be none of my business but my first impluse was to donate Norm Fay a decent meal, I shudder to think what his diet must be based on after all those years scratching around to survive on staff. Geeze...

Love the quote :)

Sea Org and staff members are like the walking wounded, their minds are shell shocked from all the indoctrination and they can't see a way out of the battle they're in. So they dig trenches and hide hoping for a miracle or the BASICS will save the day and they will flourish and prosper. Sad really :bigcry:

Syd Org hasn't been able to deliver KTL for years, no KTL trained sups.

KTL disappeared in Sydney after 1995 - the remaining KTL staff were "absorbed" into the org and put onto other posts as there was "no need" for a dedicated KTL team any more as there was no-one on it.

Almost to a man, they left once their contracts were up. I stupidly signed up for another 2 & 1/2 years.:duh:

Edwin Taylor was the last of the original team and he'd been sent OS several times after that or more training. All of the others disappeared from staff.

Yes indeed Scoots. SDay KTL/LOC was pretty well screwed over within the Ist year of release. Horvatic was the last to go musical chairs to OES (Good God!) I really can't recall one Day Exec ever doing the crse so that's how much back up the team got - zip

Too true mate - and Syd F followed after that.

It wasn't long before the only place in ANZO where KTL could be done was the AO.

The last thing I heard in the early 2000s was that KTL was to be re-released and all the materials re-done. There was the usual flogging-off of the old materials at bargain-basement prices going on at the time.

They killed off probably the best course in Scn, the KTL. I still reckon the LOC was squirrelled to death before it was ever printed - stands to reason though - we can't have ethically oriented people hanging around, too damn pesky.
I heard that Johnno tried desperately to keep the banner flying in the AO, wonder what happened to him??
However, I couldn't believe a promo piece a year or so ago selling the 9A grammar books, a Bridge promo piece I think - what a stab in the back for that course.
Aw well... what else would one expect from the sanest people on the planet.

Yeah, that's the one. So confidential that one peak out if sequence and ZAP - you're toast! Sirens wailed and the sound of jack boots running down hallways etc your arrest was swift and merciless.

All the books had pictures in 'em if I recall but per the delivery course; the sequence is important and old study habits, dictionaries etc were bypassed to give a chance for the data going in. It produced remarkable results, although the students were often unaware of just how much more proficient in the language they had became. One of those hard things to qualify but I still reckon a hard grind for 6 weeks or so is well worth it. It does take a dedicated team to deliver it.
