Now don't get me wrong........ I do feel for JT and his wife and I truly believe that his heart is the right place........but I could not believe that within the first 4 minutes of this video he was just constantly pushing "his church".
I'm going to pass on this movie because all I see in the clips is JT "playing" a role.

I just have to think that John really doesn't know what goes on inside the walls of the Sea Org. They treat him like a king.

If John doesn't know, it's because he doesn't *want* to know. Which makes him just as culpable.

Don't feel like barfing so I think I'll pass on the video. Sad to see a grown man so helplessly brain washed.

I have noticed that he doesn't actually say the "Church of Scientology", I think he is a little too embarrassed to say it out loud.

I think he looks really sad.
I didn't feel that he was comfortable at all
until the actual promotion of the movie.

I agree with you Jenni,

What struck me about the interview is that it almost seemed forced how he had to keep working his "church" into the conversation.

First, they helped him with his loss through their special "loss program" -yeah, right

Then the whole Haiti thing- the volunteer minsters HAD to be mentioned when only the doctors, nurses and supplies were actually important. I don't see any other starthat is promoting a movie, having to insert their "church" into each topic but maybe he needs to get some stats up for a 6 mo. check.

Lulu Belle once posted that celebs (in Scn) have to know. That some of them have family in the SO and that they have PR people who dig up everything that their celeb employers should know. I know that they treat celebs like kinds in the SO and I always thought what you've stated above, but Lulu's post (a few months ago, I think it was) really made sense to me.

So maybe they're coercing him as they did with Isaac Hayes?

Time....for my favorite quote! From Dicken's A TALE OF TWO CITIES, the context being two dozen a**kissers serving chocolate to a French aristocrat:

"The leprosy of unreality disfigured all in attendance upon the monsigneur."
Only in this case the leprosy has spread to the object of veneration himself.
My bet: JT is going to give up the charade in this decade.

Leave your money with Emma. :coolwink:

Well said. He made his choice and it was the wrong one.

Tacitly, at least, he is a sycophant.

He could have stuck to his guns when he spoke of management in about 1983.
He was blackmailed apparently, and has to live with that.

 What Zinj said. Same goes to any of the celebs/wealthy/importants who are coddled and spoiled by Co$.....and even if they were to witness any of the abuse/yelling/degrades, etc. They can 'rationalize' it better from their high and dry, cushy perches, ya see.

I couldn't watch the vid. It had a commercial at the beginning. Commercials are illegal, a violation of My Law and are usually committed to death with a click of the mouse.

I always get the feeling that Travolta doesn't want to be in the cult anymore, but can't leave for some reason. I hope he gets out.

This is treason-talk.

We need an NSA wiretap on this guy's phone.
