After the GO was raided by the FBI and the GO execs including MSH, needed to raise money to pay for their legal expenses, LRH was steaming mad when he found out the Safe Enviroment Fund (SEF) was in the orgs trying to get donations for these people as that is not what Scn is about. Donations were forbidden.

I think that is an oversight. These donations are about caring, the exchange begotten is Group maybe. But IAS donations are for the greater glory of Cob, must be contributed too.

The founder seemed harsh in this case. Why would onley he have the benefit of Scientology legal. Raising money in this case could alsoo be seen as bad PR since breaking in goverment offices is no small thing. The Church “disconnected ” itself from them as they were “damaged goods”

I think it is normal and sane to raise money for those you love when they are facing legal turmoil. I alsoo think these people had the RIGHT and the FREEDOM to do so. No AUTHORITY should have stopped them.
