"We have concluded this dramatic interpretation is not a fit for the History brand," the network said in a statement late Friday. The decision was first reported Friday by the Hollywood Reporter.

History said the decision was made after viewing the entire series, which stars Greg Kinnear and Katie Holmes as President John F. Kennedy and his wife, Jackie."

Something about "historical fiction". Something OSA and David Miscavige are believers and practioners of.

This surprises me a little, that they would ax it, as the elites are all too ready to besmirch the memory of one of their own who had a crisis of conscience... It must have been a REALLY subpar production.

Or maybe it was considered too hostile to the Kennedys.

Yep!
I believe that is the truth of the matter.

BTW, Joe Kennedy had a bad reputation as a "cut throat".
Howard Hughes, no angel himself, hated the Kennedys.
Politics as usual.

Supposedly, some TV station in Canada is going to pick this up and broadcast it.
We will see if they do or not.
It will probably depend on if the upper mgmt of the station "can be bought".

BTW, I recommend that people read the book "Citizen Hughes".
It's an "eye opener"... with many reproduced copies of memos in Hughes own hand-writing.

Thought it funny that one of Katie's co-stars in the show is Barry Pepper, the star of that great movie we all loved... Battlefield Earth.

Let's not mention the Kennedy's involvement in running booze over Canadian border during prohibition.... Look over there >>>

"The series has finally landed on the ReelzChannel, E! News confirms. Not sure where to find ReelzChannel, you ask? Most cable packages have it, and it's available through DirecTV, Dish Network, AT&T, Time Warner, Comcast and Charter Communications."

Does this Hubbard broadcasting company belong to a member of the family or is the name coincidental?
And what, if anything, is the influence of Co$ on this network?
