To me, why Sheen is such a big fish is the bigger story. :melodramatic::confused2:

For some, any publicity is good publicity.
Maybe next she'll bite the head off a live bat LOL

This is what she says:

Charlie Sheen is getting some surprising support from an ex. Kelly Preston, who was engaged to the troubled actor more than 20 years ago, tells People magazine that Sheen is a "beautiful person" at his core. "My heart just goes out to him, and all of his family. He's such a good person underneath all of it, he really is," said the actress who is now married to John Travolta. Charlie accidentally SHOT Preston when they were engaged in the early '90s but she doesn't hold a grudge and says he was sober then. "We were together for a year, and he wasn't drinking, and he wasn't doing drugs," Preston said, adding "there's a way back for anyone." (Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic)

She used to live with George Clooney too. Then the pig came into the picture and things went south.

Charlie maybe moonbat crazy :hissyfit:and loaded on whatever it is he's loaded on, but he's one of the very few celebrities that, with all of his flaws, still resembles a real human being.

I stopped liking "Ken" dolls when I was about 10 years old and rather see ten "Moonbat Charlies" than one "Plastic Fantastic Tom".

Who is just as moonbat crazy in his own way. At least Charlie follows his own delusions, and not those that are laid upon him by a cult, be it Co$ or AA.
Both are drinking the Koolaid, the only difference is the price of the brand.
AA is lots cheaper, but just as addictive.

I don't agree with all Charlie says, and the guy is clearly out of control, but I get sick of the Celeb Culture where people can do whatever they like as long as they say the politically correct things and apologize in public if not, preferably on national TV, when sober again.
As long as they do that, the public will keep forgiving almost everything. While the laws for non-Celebs get more and more restrictive every year.

In a way I admire Charlie for his guts. But at the same moment it's clear he needs some help with his moodswings and his substance abuse.:bong:
However, nobody throws him in prison. If he were Charlie Sixpack from the trailerpark or Charlie Sneakers from the Housing Projects, he would have been long gone.:ball:

Talking about hypocrisy. All the tabloids crush Charlie for letting his crew down. In a way he did, but he tries to make amends for them in a courtcase. Don't know if it will work out, but at least he tries something.

Where were those tabloids when the Sea Org slave workers who benefitted Tom Cruise were brought into the light of the public eye? :floor:
Did the tabloids care about their lack of income and freedom? No. They just cared about the distress the situation caused TOMKAT. Talking about hypocrites.:puke:

And what's Preston gonna do? Send Charlie to Narconon? Or have him on a Purif in the Celeb Center? Where has she been all those years she saw him deteroriating? Where was she all those years when her son needed professional help? Why is she still covering up for Travolta's sex-life?:laundry:

And now she prays for Charlie? Praying, the national American pastime. Ask Jesus for forgiveness, in public, wether you believe in Christianity or not.
As long as the crowd believes you do.:notworthy:
We all know Scilon's don't pray, at least not to Jesus. And that's what the public is reading between the lines.
It makes me puke, much more than the rantings of a deeply disturbed man.

Sorry for the rant, but I can't stand this amount of hypocrisy.

Sheen is vocally anti-Scientology. Just last week in one of his ravings he called it "the church of the Martian idiot." He is also a 9-11 truther and batshit insane. So I don't think he's going to get in the sauna anytime soon, but I also don't think he's someone we necessarily want the "cause" to be associated with.

And, Hatshepsut, I totally thought you were being way harsh on Travolta until I saw the piscture of an actual pig. :)

My take on this: Though it's entirely possible Charlie will kill himself with dope and booze, which would be a sad end to his problems:bigcry:, he won't end up in a cult.
He's just just to damn hardheaded to give over his life to a leader other then Charlie S. That's why AA never worked on him and neither will scientology or giving his life to Jesus.
The guy just needs to keep the illusion of control. And if he loses that illusion, he'd rather lose it to the substance than to another being, be it human or Divine.
He's just not wired that way. Either he works it out himself, perhaps helped by medication, or he kills himself, while showing the world "he is in control".

But he'll never admit he needs help from God, LRH or even other human beings like himself.
I sincerely do hope he finds his way out before he kills himself. I genuinely like the guy:yes:, even if, some times, I don't know why. Maybe it's just because he's so damn hardheaded.:confused2:

(and before I get all the ex-addicts and family-members who dote on Jesus and AA on me; I know, from own experience, what out-of-control addiction is.
I also know what it's like to have a loved one addicted. And I never saw anybody getting psychologically healthier by exchanging a substance-addiction into a cult-addiction. I respect Charlie for saying it out loud.

Charlie Sheen made some comments openly hostile towards Scientology and/or Scientologists in his interview with Alex Jones a few weeks ago.

From latest edition of Rolling Stone Magazine:

Let's put his one-of-a-kind career into historical perspective. He came up at the same time as Tom Cruise, when they were the new beady-eyed beefcake bros in town. They both played Vietnam vets in Oliver Stone movies. They both seemed like likable lightweights: not too bright, but desperate to be taken seriously. One of them grew up to be batshit-loco Cocoa Puffs. The other turned into Charlie Sheen.
