Welcome to the golden age of leaks.

Are you interested in seeing whats happening inside Melbourne Ideal Org? Seeing a well oiled propaganda machine in motion? Being shocked at how unbelievably out of touch with reality the modern Scientology cult is? Enjoy analysing any leaks from the inside? This thread is for you!

In this thread there will be posted the latest news leaks from Melbourne Org, primarily through the internal newsletters they send out. Check back occasionally as this will be a constant work in process.

In addition I will soon be creating similar threads for other ANZO Orgs.

Now for some content to get things rolling...

Get a load of that new staff contract in the header picture - "pledge of religious commitment and application for volunteer service to church of scientology australia inc"

Honestly I can barely believe how far they are taking this "Staff are volunteers" charade :melodramatic:

Oh and only 6 graduates, half of which are now staff, and half are intro courses, and during the peak of the birthday game?

Yes, Melbourne has apparently won the birthday game. Too bad they can't see this is an abysmal comment on the state of Orgs worldwide. Melbourne is number one? Oh dear oh dear we are in trouble...

Out-quals! Once he's done his Contribution time on Staff and given almost everything he owns he'll have qualified for OT VIII. You didn't really think Rudy was doing all this Contribution shit out of "the goodness of his heart" or because he wants to, did you?

Count the staff in the two contrasted pictures:omg:

If you look at the first picture - see how small the tree is on the right of the picture?

Now split the staff behind the two EDs and count the number of Day staff there.

Then go to the bottom picture and count the number of Day staff. See how much bigger the tree is?

I make it that they've lost around thirty staff since the first picture was taken.

And THEY WON THE BIRTHDAY GAME?????:hysterical:

Nice spotting, I didn't notice the tree change. The first pic was taken at the Ideal Org opening, and I assume the second was taken at the first anniversary.

Missing staff much? LOL

Noticed that Roger Saffra was top FSM for Melbourne. Roger is the husband of Myrna. And Myrna became the ED of Adelaide org. Anyone know what is going on here? Have the Saffras shifted to Melbourne?

Anyone with any news of Adelaide?

Nice spotting,

Indeed!

The time between the two photographs would depend on species of tree and local conditions (sun, water).

Come on Scooter the difference in numbers may be for a couple of reasons:

The org is so upstat staff/volunteers are on annual leave cause it's been a year since the grand opening
Staff are being sent to the MECCA for training cause the expansion is so great:dieslaughing:
or the rent a crowd/volunteer was too expensive the second time round

All jokes aside the blow/attrition rate is certainly MECCA

It's all very hyperbolic and pukeworthy, isn't it.

Can anyone remember how many stats there are for Class V Orgs? What would be a good total for an org in a week?

Over the year, Melbourne Day scored 2358 which is an average of 45.35 points per week, and 14th placed Milano scored 1758 which is 33.81 points per week.

This doesn’t sound too good for the top 14 orgs on the planet, to me, but can anyone confirm?

I was at Flag when Mel Day & Fdn had about 20 people in training in the big push before the grand opening, and on this list I only see about 4 names I recognize from that group. Now, I was never clear about who was Day & who Fdn, but where are Matt Lucas and Jodie O'Grady, for starters? And weren't there lots more tech people on that big recruitment brochure that was posted about a month ago? They can't all be from Fdn.

Anyone with any news of Adelaide?

I don't actually have any leaks from Adelaide! (It must be very dead!)

All I have is Issue 400 of 'Comm Line', the org magazine but it is IDENTICAL to other ANZO orgs (except Melbourne), just full of generic scn international spam. There is only one paragraph of the mag that relates to Adelaide, which says they are creating an Ideal Org in Adelaide, and they have located a building. Of course it is still on 'approval lines' and they need more money to make it happen.

According to SO ED 5341 INT there are 27 different GDS that are awarded birthday game points for a Class V Org (affluence/power get more points + bonuses). I can upload the document if needed, it was leaked online many years ago.

What it says is that the big US orgs didn't get a 500-point bonus for going ideal last year. And Melbourne won't have it this year...

I have noticed a few funny things with the stats in recent months. When Cincinnati Ideal opened both Day and FDN got 282 points each for the weekly birthday game count (A week after opening they crashed to only 25 points each LOL). When Sacramento Ideal opened Day and FDN got 283 each that week. Is this the 500-bonus you are talking about or something different?

Note in the final stats posted Cincinnati has popped up in the top 10 and both Day and FDN have exactly 1812 points each. Its all very dodgy if you ask me..

BTW, where it says 107 staff total in the first post, is that Day only or Day/FDN combined? Also does anyone know if Day/FDN have a different dress code, or there is some way to tell them apart?

Hmmm. Don't know about the 282 point thing. All I know is that last year when I was still on staff and my org was in the hunt for the birthday game, our ED told us about the 500 point bonus the new ideal orgs got. We had a post-renovations "grand re-opening" and they CSW'd to get a 250-point bonus for it. Don't remember that they got it.

Also, the Day & Fdn orgs have identical uniforms, so it's impossible to tell them apart in a 2-org group photo.

Thank you very much for all that you do Zhent

I would say that the 282 points was a half of the (500 split/shared by day and foundation) plus 32 of regular wks earnings Similarly, the 283 would be a half of 500 plus 33 for the week. Those weekly numbers of 32 and 33 come closer to matching the average weekly for the year.

I'm not done yet!

Have a look at this page from a recent "Communication" - The magazine of Melbourne Org.

http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/4933/communication408melbour.jpg

OMG they must think their field are fools! The photo of the Hubbard Professional Metering Course is clearly the same as Hubbard Professional TR Course but taken 10 seconds later. We know they are stretching their PR thin but really...

I have also obtained the completion list for the org, these are currently being processed and will be made available in full later. I can tell you right now that 1/4 are Basics completions, 1/2 are Div 4 & 6 courses (A lot of life improvement courses), and the remainder are 'Bridge Actions'.
Will be interesting to crunch some real stats from Melbourne...

BTW. Keep in mind they dont publish completion lists in every magazine, in order to stretch the completions out, so the period is a number of months (guess 3???).

The Melbourne FSM game was mentioned in the first post, lets now take a closer look at this with the following document.

http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/5003/melbed160fsmgamepage5.jpg

Hmm, so the game is almost over now, its been running for 5 months and what are the results?

Well the leaderboard posted in the OP is a few weeks old but the top FSM only had 36 points? And that quickly dropped off to 12 points in 8th place. I have previous issues of FSM News and they were quite slow to even get there.

Just look at their award scheme, these 'top' FSM barely got the first award and were nowhere near the middle range 100 points award.

A little bit too optimistic I think they were with their expectations.

Oh dear, there are quite a few empty seats in that group photo.

How many did they bring in for the biggest event of the year? 200? less then 200?

Its simply astounding how they can harp on about 'unbelievable expansion' when its the same old fools coming to the events. The Church of Scientology simply cannot face the inevitable conclusion, that in this day and age practically no-one is interested in long term Scientology involvement. Suck in as many people for the intro courses and basics as they want and claim super expansion, these people WILL NOT be sticking around for long.

Oh how sad, as you can plainly see from post #31 above in this thread (Issue 45) they are just recycling the TRs/Objective stuff. I guess things are starting to go downhill again after the end of that crazy birthday game.

OMG I LOVE this Ian Stewart success story though:

History of Man Book and Lecture Course

"I had read this book early on, as an interest thing as the space drama stuff was intriguing, being a sci-fi fan and all. Reading the book with the checksheet bought to light so much new data and understanding on who we are and all the rest of our history. Having this backed up with all the preceeding Basics also made the progress very smooth. I learned about what has occured, though briefly this gave me a new level of ARC towards life. I understand people more in terms of thetans, bodies and what we have expeienced. Also my understanding of the E-Meter and its development and use has increased. Alot of the lectures go over this tool and its impact on auditing and how it helped Ron uncover the hidden past that holds us back. It really has given me a thirst to continue on with the Basics. As I read each book I feel that I grow more as a thetan and follow the path out of control by Mest into control as me, as I follow this actual path that Ron laid out. Again many thanks to the staff and to Ron as it is an amazing and honourable journey to be undertaking." - I.S.

How they hell did they let that get published, that shit is crazy, the first sentence says it all. Any new public reading that will be going "WTF have I got myself into?!"

Crap! Just crap! Their “sudden and groundbreaking” thing is just totally bullshit. What is Traditional Chinese? A seldom used written language which is used, mainly, in very scholarly sections of the community. Traditional Chinese written language was dropped from main-stream society something like 60 years ago (can't remember exact date and too lazy to look it up).

Your average 35-year-old, and under, cannot read Traditional Chinese! I suspect this piece of cult propaganda meant to say they have translated into Simplified Chinese but who the hell knows with this nutty group. Perhaps their translations are into Traditional Chinese. lol

These people have no idea! They have no idea what they talking about! They are a joke! If they have translated the books into Traditional Chinese, lol!

I could sit here all night giving deep and profound reasons (of a non-political nature), steeped in thousands of years of ancient philosophy, as to why Hubbard’s American neurotic nonsense will never take hold in Chinese culture. And like I said, it is not to do with current politics (current policy) up in China.

The average Chinese person would just laugh at scientology and wander off down the street to do something useful with their day!

The number of consistent typos in these newsletters just takes my breath away! F**k!

p.s. Please don't worry about China becoming infected with scientology. The Chinese know a good joke when they hear one!

Lermanet_com

p.s. Please don't worry about China becoming infected with scientology. The Chinese know a good joke when they hear one!

There is no worry. China launched a massive campaign to stamp out Falun Gong which is a repetative-motion-while-imagining-something-which-is-not-there type of self hypnosis.

It is based on a method of deep trance induction based on a technique described by LeCron in the 1940's - as a deep hypnosis technique - LeCron said that all you have to do to induce a deep trance is cause the person to repetitively imagine something that is not physically there that is in motion.(see note below)
This is the method used on the "The Clearing Course" and some 'OT Levels' and other supposed 'levels' in scientology by Hubbard.

It is one of the methods in scientology shared with Falun Gong, and more importantly the fanaticism (Hubbard uses the word 'certainty' to describe the same result) of its adepts is, dangerously, of similar intensity.

Arnie Lerma

(note) Try this innocuous self induced deep trance using this method if you doubt my words... Because a deep trance causes a pain free state, Hubbard called this "clear"... you will find this both pleasant and relaxing ( direct suggestion).

Relax in a comfortable chair. Imagine an orange basketball rolling slowly across a table towards the dge. Anticipate it reaching the dge and falling off.. it then falls off the table, then bounces repeatedly on the floor and goes out the doorway, out of sight, but you can still hear it bouncing away as the sound fades away to nothing. Repeat this 'excercise' or 'process' a few to a dozen times... Relax and enjoy the benefits of a self induced trance state.

Now reach into your wallet that contains the money that you got from your BANK (which you simply must get rid of because the BANK is the dreaded REACTIVE MIND) and mail me a check for $100..in compliance with the Ferengi and scientology doctrine of exchange.

Hypnosis works!

What is Traditional Chinese? A seldom used written language which is used, mainly, in very scholarly sections of the community. Traditional Chinese written language was dropped from main-stream society something like 60 years ago (can't remember exact date and too lazy to look it up).

Traditional script is used in Taiwan. Aren't there a lot of Taiwanese in Scn, especially in AOSH ANZO? I'd say they're tapping the market.

Ok, let me get this straight in my own mind.

This promotes an Executive Business owner's conference held EVERY Tuesday night - by the ED's husband.

It's promoting the Purif, with a few vague "Success Stories"

It has three graduates of Basic Courses with their "Success Stories"

The staff photo from a year ago is semi-titled "Foundation staff, but it's a combined Day/Foundation staff photo.

Therefore, I conclude:

The stats suck - hugely.

Staff numbers are badly down.

Three basic courses are the TOTAL delivery for the org for the week, (or maybe even fortnight)

The reality of the rut they are drowning in is starting to reach the staff that all is not well, because they can't even find something to INVENT happiness-over-unlimited-straight-up-and-vertical-expansion.

Desperate cult is desperate.

Its has gotten pretty bad here in ybor @the ideal org, the scientologists are no longer allowed to wear their uniforms around the streets...because the harassment has gotten so bad. Some lulz analysis from the newsletter:

So it has been calculated that the number we need are:

- A total of 15 auditors for each org
- A total 125 staff for each org

That means...

- Hiring 50 new staff members for Foundation Org
- Hiring 25 new staff members for Day Org
- Getting all staff fully hatted as soon as possible!
- Smoothing out all flow lines of the org

That would imply Melb Day has 100 staff, Melb Foundation has 75 staff.

Now remember this?

http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/6803/melbournedayshrinkage.png

And also this?

http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/3162/closeddoorbriefing.jpg

Thats right, staff numbers are going BACKWARDS. In the last couple of months Melbourne Day has been losing one staff member EACH week. Foundation has lost 15 over an indeterminate time.

I think they DID do massive recruiting for the Ideal Org opening, but I think a lot of the staff went to Foundation Org. Some did join Day but that means that before the push, they must have gone BACKWARDS from 2001 until they got their numbers back up in 2011 for the Idle Morgue opening.

So from 2001 to say 2010 they actually went BACKWARDS. That's LESS THAN ZERO.

Yes, Panda. I do recall that the Universal Corp was to come to the colonies when the AOSH ANZO went St Hill size a number of years ago now. So it's just another failure on the cults part to reward the SO crew... well if you call being audited a reward but I'm sure those dedicated SO members would consider it an award ...for me not so much  Most who were part of the team that apparently worked to make the AO St Hill size would be gone, dying or dead by now anyway... just saying.

Of course their problem these days is personnel.

From the photo it appears they shelled out for the main hall, at a cost of $4100.

From my experience, if they have one more audience, they will include he or she in the picture. That's a bit expensive for 6 audience per day.

So they actually sent one guy from Sydney, who was a trainee from Taiwan for a couple of months. On the way to Melbourne, his cell phone is in between low battery and dead all the time, while he lost his spare battery. He complained of a sore/painful body everyday. When he sent out fliers, people weren't too friendly because they think that he is Falun Gong.

IAS is fucking nuts. Seriously this is a massive whopper even by their standards.

From Wikipedia:
2008: More than 1,400 killings in Juarez.
2009: 2,600 killings in Juarez.
2010: 3,075.

In response, business groups in Juárez have called for UN intervention.

The increase in violence left city morgues overwhelmed, causing trouble for storing bodies. As of February 20, 2011, Juárez averages eight homicides per day

[That's 2,920 a year.]

El Paso News:
The data available for Cd. Juárez is as follows:

Year Execution Murder/Assault
2007 134 2
2008 1,300 32
2009 2,204 26
2010 2,661 77
Data source: Mexican federal government
http://www.elpasonews.org/2011/04/27/homicide-statistics-for-cd-juarez/

New York Times:

The official tally, provided by the attorney general’s office, included data only through September 2011, and it showed that drug-related killings increased 11 percent, to 12,903, compared with the same nine-month period in 2010. Still, a government statement sought to find a silver lining, asserting that it was the first year since 2006 “that the homicide rate increase has been lower compared to the previous years.”

14 bridge steps in the last 60 days? Why am I not impressed at all about this?

What happened to the 'flood' of TRs & Objectives completion that was lauded in previous newsletters (only 4???) ? What about all those purif completions (only 3???) ?

Of course I have little concept of what is actual 'good' production for a Class V org, but really this boastful crowing about 14 completions just seem rubbish. Good luck clearing the planet...

Yep, all that long-hoped-for expansion, all those dreams of a truly ideal org, all that time, money, blood, sweat and tears and it's just not happening.
It's amazing how long it takes some people to see that.

I've said it here on ESMB several times before but, just for fun, I'll say it again;

I think John Duignan said it best in his book, The Complex.

On page 164, discussing the Hubbard method of statistical management of the CofS he says,

"Despite the Founder's insistence that an accurate statistical analysis would solve all the organisational problems and cause a huge boom in income and delivery, the real reason these little churches remained impoverished was simply that the general public did not, never had and never would like Scientology."

I think that is as good as it gets in terms of explaining these things. :)

I do not know, Supa, but I assume it would include responsibility for the major Scientology front groups such as Way to Happiness, Applied Scholastics, Narconon, Criminon etc. Scientology's idea of "social reform" is a bit like Norman Bates' idea of how to treat your mother, of course, but I am confident she will get the same kind of impressive results she did with handling the hell out of the Australian media, which may well have landed her the plum new role.

Virginia has always been the Social Reform Aide (at least for quite a while). A Social Reform Aide basically being the OSA PR title for the person organising the front groups, as Purple Rain suggested.

It is interesting that she was not introduced as OSA ANZO, which would be the senior title from Social Reform Aide. (she surely could not have been kicked out of OSA...)

She also wears the PR hat, but since the last time we properly got a spokesclam on tv to give a serious response was in Four Corners back in 2010 (as far as I can recall) its hard to know who is actually the designated media liaison.

Edit: tentative list of staff clams who have acted as spokespersons, in person or in statement:
Cyrus Brooks
Virginia Stewart
Vicki Dunstan

first of all I thought those were a bunch of Mormons rapping around.
While Melbourne is busy "getting their stats up" and playing the wonderful "LRH birthday game", they are oblivious to the empty orgs around the rest of the world.
As the Ideal orgue there is still new and shiny, it may take years before people (especially these young ones seen here) realise it is all part of the same trap, we also once fell for many years ago.
If they were at least interested in hearing about past experiences from old members, but no... they are just as deluded as we once were.
Very sad when you consider they WILL look back in maybe 15-20 years time see that it was just a waste of time, where they could have been concentrating on something that would really have an effect their lives.
Instead they choose to live in their own little $cientology world with their own group of believers.
They really think they are making the world a better place.
Very sad:yes:
