Alright folks, get a load of this latest!

Back in 2005, the Church of Scientology held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of their Stevens Creek "Ideal Org." Here's a picture from that event:

Per the attached flyer, they held another ribbon-cutting ceremony yesterday, this time to celebrate - wait for it - renovations!!

Seems like it's not enough to Davey-boy to bilk parishioners for grand openings anymore - now he's going back to well to squeeze even more money from people for already completed projects!!

It has to be said that a sizeable proportion of the people still in the Cof$ must be really, truly, stupid. I know, I know, we should be compassionate towards mind-controlled people trapped in cults, but being stupid is playing a big part in all this.

Wow, they must have emptied out half the org staffs in the state to get that crowd out there. :coolwink:

Seems I missed this event, I just found it on another site and wondered if there was any info on this one. I agree, total waste. The first one was cold (really) and everything echoed because of all the empty halls. The only space you got was empty space. Once in awhile they'd have an event and with people in it, it was nice...unless it was an IAS event, then it was more like you were a cornered mouse looking around nervously for an escape route. LOL

Things have slowed down there quite a bit since then. ;)
