Anyone know of any Kha Khans?
What about Kha Khans getting offloaded or declared before their "9 lives" were up?
How are these "lives" counted? On what criteria?

Way back in the 70s, Bent Corydon (Riverside Mission E.D.) announced Kha Khan status for Jeff Kovac (a reg) in an all-staff meeting. I was there when this happened.
What happened with Jeff after I finally left... I don't know.

I knew a Kha Khan by the name of Chic Chiclacos. I was told that LRH himself made him Kha Khan. Not sure how many lives he had left. He left Co$ back in the early 80's. He was a nice guy.

This is based on unreliable memories. The ED in Miami Org, Dave Tropf, was given Kha Khan one year for birthday game winner I believe supposedly by LRH in about '81. Then the next year about four other execs were given it, too but not by LRH. I don't remember why but Dave Tropf lost one life for something a bit later. Then, about a year after the four execs got it, I think the ED and a couple of those execs were Declared by Int Finance Police. Kha Khan became Ka-Ka. :smack:

I knew one person that was given Kha Khan status. Her name was Maria Maloney. That was in 79, and she was a Tours Reg then, regging mainly big fishes for Flag.
I vaguely remember having read about her ending up with Captain Bill towards the end of his lifetime.
By the way, Maria had a daughter called Angie. Angie should be around 40 by now. As a kid, she was having a ball living more or less on her own in SO, while her mother mostly was out on tour. It was big secret on who and where her father might be. Angie was just Angie, daughter of Maria, nothing more.
Maybe someone on this board knows Angie and can tell me, where she is?

I knew Maria Maloney,i was pretty close to her just before i left Abellund. She left before me to go home and have a baby.I met the Father of the baby once.It will stay a secret.Maria and i did write to each other the once after we had left, she sounded so pleased to be a Mum.
I was shocked when i found out Maria had gone back, i only found that out last year.I couldn't imagine why once you'd left, someone would then go back.I see it is all too common.
I can't imagine any kid having a ball on their own in the SO.I did not. Some times you have to get on with things out of necessity,do or die.In the Sea Org you don't have a choice.

I'm sorry if it was not the same for you, but I definitely remember Angie as a happy kid! She had plenty of friendly people around, taking care of her. But this was before the 'big hassles' started. Children were still treated with due respect then.
Best would be we could ask her! You don't happen to have a clue where she is?
You're right, Maria was a good mum, despite her job keeping her off base most of the time. She was my first senior in SO, and she was rough and tough on her post! You have known her then long before me.

I was made Kha Khan in the early 70's - all due to making $$$$ for the org. It allowed me to go clear- OT- and the shsbc, big deal - since I'm now posting on this board and would like nothing more than people to think for themselves and that would seriously harm the cos. A thinking scientologist - imagine - yeah I know - all the ones who can and do are already posting on this board.

As i have stated in my story i was not treated badly at Abellund,i was pretty much left to my own devices.I think the bulk of the people there felt sorry for me.
I used to roam the countryside, walking in the meadows, spent hours bouncing up and down on a trampoline. Got really badly sunburnt one day as i had fallen asleep in the sun.It was not like on the "Apollo".I was certainly as happy as one could be without any family, you have to just get on with life, which is what i did. However, underneath it all i felt very betrayed by these nice people who saw fit to deprive me of my Father. No matter how nice Supercargo was to me and she was on the face of it, it is no excuse to not allow a child to see their parent. Then to make sure a child(me) knows what they did to my Dad.
Bullbait, interrogate, sec check, call it what you will and then to make sure i knew he had been locked in a cupboard overnight. What kind of people do that to a child?Scientologists elite Sea Org, thats who.
A couple of things i learnt early on in the Sea Org,one was never to trust a Scientologist completely. Secondly, but the one that was my survival mechanism was to always put on a brave face in front of other people, never let on in public how unhappy you really were, pretend everything was alright, even when it wasn't.I got so good at it that i could even pretend to myself everything was ok at times.Trouble is you hold it in and you hold it in and then you explode, or get ill/depressed and suicidal thoughts set in.That happened quite a bit after i left the Sea Org.
I'm glad Angie had a happy life as a child in the Sea Org, i would be interested to hear her account though. No i do not know where she is. I only corresponded with Maria the once. I wanted the money back that she had borrowed, it was only a small amount but at the time i was planning yet another escape and needed it. She sent me a nice letter back explaining how she couldn't give it to me as she had responsibilities as a Mother now and needed all the money she could get. I believe she was staying with her Mother at the time. Still find it hard to believe she went back.

Anyone who gets the IAS Medal of Freedom is supposedly a Kha-khan, but in practice that is only valid until davey miscavige decides otherwise.

I just read through your story, I had earlier read only parts of it, and I understand you much better now. I wish you are doing well now  !
Oh dear, Maria and her money-stories! Fact was, she needed an awful lot of it for many 'special needs', like liters of coffee, cigs, presents for Angie, food (as she mostly missed the normal meal hours), cleaning clothes etc. She earned big commissions, but still had to borrow left and right, as the money never was where she needed it.
When Angie was around 10, I lost them out of sight both of them. I just can't remember, how and why it happened :confused2: . Bloody hell, just one of those blanks again. So I have no idea, how their lives continued  .

I'd like to hear from any Kha Khan who has a _complete_ collection of 10 (TEN) SP declares, original copies only, all on Goldenrods, condition mint, with backboards.
(One declare for each Kha Khan life, then the final declare, the one that really counts.)

Did he? Can I ask where he audited you? Yes, Chic was great. He always had time for everybody. Then something happened and he was gone from the org. I never heard what it was that made him leave. He started a school in Albuquerque but people at the org were telling public not to send their kids there. Good old $cientology.
I just looked in the Albuquerque phone book and he is still listed!

Exactly! My observation is that being granted Kha Khan is meaningless. The bud is off the vine before it blooms. Much like any certificate you receive from the Co$ today. It will be obsolete before you get the opportunity to use it. Sadly, the bad persists and the good is fleeting. When you think about it the Mission Holders who were thrown out in 82, actually were fortunate to cut their losses early. Many of them are in much better shape then anyone in current Co$.
