I may not get another chance to say this before I head of to my mum's place for Christmas tomorrow night.
I want to say thank you and Merry Christmas to all who have helped make ESMB what it is today.
I love that we can have differing viewpoints on Scientology and stil be civil to each other (most of the time :wink2: ).
I'm so glad that each of us is able to spend this Christmas free of the CoS/DM created slavery and be with our families.
I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and I hope to see you here on the 4th of January to celebrate ESMBs first birthday.

Merry Christmas to each and every single one of you!
It's nice to have the freedoms we now have. It's nice to be able to be with our families.
And to have enough money to buy Christmas dinners and gifts for those whom we love.
It's not about the money, but it sure is nice being able to say "hey, John will like that" or "my child will like that" and be able to buy the gift for them.

Mewhahahaaa! Thanks for posting this! - (I had decided not to reuse that, since I've reused it every damned year since 2001.. But I have been too lazy to produce anything new... Perfect solution is to have someone else reuse it, relieving me of responsibility! :D)

Merry, merry Christmas folks!
This is the first Christmas for me, in a long long time, that I'm not sad or keyed in or whatever ya want ta call it, like I have been for years now every Christmas. Because of you wonderful lot here at ESMB, I have my life back, and a future to look forward to. I thank you and love you for that. :)
I know that Christmas can be just so hard. Some of you here are being prevented from sharing it with loved ones and/or family when you should be able to. Some of you have lost loved ones and it'll undoubtedly be a sad time.....My heart is with you all, and I hope that there is joy and love for you this Christmas, despite who or what is *missing*.

Weird how I live in Texas and have never said nor wrote that expression before....
May the New Year bring Scn closer to the end. And may disconnections, forced abortions, human trafficking, RPF, DM's rule, and all of Scn's other demeaning and nonsense stuff come to an end.
Emma - thanks for bringing all of us together. We have a great group!!!!!!

Thank you so much for hosting a place where the spoken word from so many Ex and Non-Ex SCNers can co-mingle and speak their mind freely without worry of retribution from the host. 24th December 2009, 11:00 AM
It's been almost two years since I've joined this group, and it's been a long long haul. When I first joined, there was uncertainty whether I'd see my family again. Since that time I've recovered most of my money from Scientology and every single one of my family members has left the church. Disconnection and the threat no longer hangs over my head. I have much to be grateful for.
I want to thank those who have been responsive, caring, sensitive, human and kind. I want to thank "Emma" for this board, again. This website has been a tool for education, for empowerment, and at times, a life line. You know who you are. You are valuable beings. I do not always agree with everyone and the faces have changed, yet I always find that there are good people here. I consider it all a blessing.
This evening I hit a milestone having eradicated much negativity from my experience in the cult. It has been a long 30 years. I am moving forward.
Over a year ago I expressed my hope that people here heal and move on, that they live, that they flourish and pass through the stages of forgiveness and take stock in what they have and what they had a part in.
This coming year, I hope we can continue to extend a hand to yet another new person who has struggled to come to terms with their Scientology experience. And that even more people pass through the gate, that find this site and your welcoming and kind words.
With regards, Riptide.

It's 12.01 here in New Zealand, so it's Christmas Day for us!
Merry Christmas to everyone all over the world - and an especially Merry Christmas to all the hard-working SO and staff who haven't seen the light yet. May this be your last Christmas working for the sad cult.
Much love
Genny
