Tomorrow is the big demonstration for the month in Sydney. Any of you new exes that want to attend, please do so. Masks are optional. You will find it very empowering. Meet at 11:00 am at Hyde Park fountain by St James station.

For anyone who can't make it but would like to send a message, you can PM me tonight and I'll deliver it in person. Anonymous has been working very hard in the fight against the abuses of Scientology. I'd like to give them all the validation we can muster.

Thanks Kooka, Have fun on the 20th and I'd love to send a message of support.
Dear Anon, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you are doing to expose the Cult of Scientology for what it is.
I wish I could be there with you.
I support your efforts and hope that you'll continue to shine the light of public attention on this shameful con masquerading as a religion.
Thank you, each and every one!
Love, Panda :)

May I suggest the following extract from Google concerning "Morphic Resonance/Fields" be reproduced and distributed at the demonstration by way of explanation of the "Anonymous" phenomena and the concurrent "awakenings" so many cult members are apparently experiencing.

Synchronicity; Morphic Resonance/Fields

"The morphic fields of social groups connect together members of the group even when they are many miles apart, and provide channels of communication through which organisms can stay in touch at a distance. They help provide an explanation for telepathy. There is now good evidence that many species of animals are telepathic, and telepathy seems to be a normal means of animal communication, as discussed in the book Dogs That Know When Their Owners Are Coming Home. Telepathy is normal not paranormal, natural not supernatural, and is also common between people, especially people who know each other well.

In the modern world, the commonest kind of human telepathy occurs in connection with telephone calls. More than 80% of the population say they have thought of someone for no apparent reason, who then called; or that they have known who was calling before picking up the phone in a way that seems telepathic. Controlled experiments on telephone telepathy have given repeatable positive results that are highly significant statistically, as summarized in The Sense of Being Stared At, and described in detailed technical papers. Telepathy also occurs in connection with emails, and anyone who is interested can now test how telepathic they are in the online telepathy test.

The morphic fields of mental activity are not confined to the insides of our heads. They extend far beyond our brain though intention and attention. We are already familiar with the idea of fields extending beyond the material objects in which they are rooted: for example magnetic fields extend beyond the surfaces of magnets; the earth’s gravitational field extends far beyond the surface of the earth, keeping the moon in its orbit; and the fields of a cell phone stretch out far beyond the phone itself. Likewise the fields of our minds extend far beyond our brains."

This explains, at least to my satisfaction, the current exodus from the cult and the increasing number of those who doubt the teachings, practices and processes promulgated by the organizations.

Communication - the universal solvent!

Splurge on it. :whistling:

Interesting EP. Global consciousness raising by ESP.

So, even though I can't be at the Sydney demo, I send you my best good wishes for a successful event, and hope that this will contribute to the anti-$cn ether world wide. Go anon go!

On dogs knowing when their owners are coming home - I was home for a couple of weeks - sick, several years ago. We had an old black cat that loved my husband, would sit on him at every opportunity, followed him around etc. Work was about 15 minutes away. Every day I was home, 15 minutes before my husband arrived home, the puss would appear from nowhere or wake up, sit on the back of the sofa, and look at the front door. The times were different from day to day, but she never missed. Spooky!!

Two references/similars come to mind.

In Brunner's 'The Shockwave Rider' there's a betting pool/statistical analysis tool called the 'Delphi' that operates on an interesting premise; If you ask a couple of million people a question related to an actual 'fact' (say, the total production of steel in a year) the answers will be all over the place, but, the average will be very close to the real number. So, they do a lot of stuff with these pools; from being a 2nd derivative stock market to Dear Abby. Dunno how well it would work in practice, but, it's an interesting concept.

Samuel Delany's 'Time Considered as a Helix of Semi-Precious Stones' has the cops using 'holographic information storage' to predict the activities/movements of criminals. Again; interesting concept.

Both seem to operate on an inductive logic/intuitive/collective unconsciousness basis that's fun to play with.
