    Re: Juliette Lewis's cryptic answer

Yes, she did this right after she kooked out a couple times on me with a couple tantrums. It was nice to be spared the bitchery. Til now. On a thread where I wasn't even posting.

    You're the ones...
  2. Re: Freeloader Debt - I'm not seeing much about this topic lately

Jesus! That's a breach of the bankruptcy stay. Discharge means (as you'd said) debt gone. They can't contact you unless you reaffirmed (which you didn't) or if it was secured and they were executing...
  3. Re: Freeloader Debt - I'm not seeing much about this topic lately

Wasn't there some really great line in a post or something that went:

"Scientology- the only place that charges you to work for them".

    ?

I always thought the assist a rather charming idea.

All states of being are mutable.
  6. Re: Freeloader Debt - I'm not seeing much about this topic lately

I never paid mine. We were staff at a nasty little mission that got disbanded after we left. The owners wanted to move to Xenu City anyway.

I did lots of stuff in Scn later and nobody said boo...

    Re: A First Question…

HE&R is "human emotion and reaction". I don't think it's mentioned on the TRs (TRs are communication drills) courses. If memory serves, it's brought up on staff training, to not be emotional on post...

    Re: A First Question…

HE&R is not covered on comm course. It's only a no case on post thing and so it's part of staff statuses.

I enjoy discussing how we felt back then. Of course things are different now.

    Re: A First Question…

Doing the comm course felt right. I really liked the TRs. I felt like I was getting some help. I'd had some pressures with schoolwork and this calmed me down a bit, just as Dad had thought it might....

    Re: A First Question…

Glad I read this. I actually had a similar thought for a thread.

What got us in...what kept us in?

I got in cuz my dad got me into it. He was involved when I was about 9. Later went back in...

Re: Best night ever in front of the TV

It was a fantastic documentary. Very even handed while being to the point and as horrifying as they needed.
So then the DVD must have been the right format. (Fluffy remembers excitedly ordering a...

    "spawn of thetan"

    Good one!
  13. Re: David Miscavige hired fake friends for his suppressive dad

Sooooo... DM was worried that his Dad would say stuff abt Scn e even though he seems to have been keeping mum. So he harasses Dad, Dad quite rightly reports it, and the very thing DM didn't want...
  14. Re: Fallout Inside After "Going Clear" Documentary

Quite a few, judging by what I'm seeing on Facebook and IRL Freezone friends.

Includes my husband. In fact, ever since, he's recommenced watching lots of videos on YouTube by exes, one of whom was...

Re: Downward spiral of the COS

There is no way out for DM. He can either keep acting like he's acting or face the music, which he won't do.

I think he's a paranoid megalomaniac. I think he's out of his mind. And before that, he...

    Re: the bridge to where?

Hub believed in life on other planets and that people had been in other galaxies in previous lifetimes. But afaik he didn't think we should go back to any of them.

    Besides space opera, Scn...
  18. Re: Willow and Jaden Smith's bizarre interview

It's sometimes hard to get where celebs are coming from. For one thing, you only see what the reporters and paparazzi are showing you. And the context in which it's presented.

    I find the young...

Re: John Travolata is a selfish coward

I'm doing fine. I should be less lazy about quoting posts and I could also remember to dust the ceiling a whole lot more often, but, in general, things are ok, and I've figured out what I believe in...

Re: John Travolata is a selfish coward

I was responding to Balthy's point, but I neglected to mention that or, better yet, to quote him, which would have helped s lot. It's definitely an error but then again, I'm ok with it because I know...

Re: John Travolata is a selfish coward

I don't think a thread- even it it were unfair- would keep someone in Scn. All that would do is prompt an opinion about the thread, if the celeb were to read it.
  24. Re: Willow and Jaden Smith's bizarre interview

Yes, Bunnyskull, that's right. And that's why they're called "kids". See, kids do stuff like that. They haven't lived as long as you and I.

    Get it?

    Re: Master - after!

I think quite a few exes did like the movie, as I recall. I know I certainly did. It's not a bio pic. It's more a cinematic equivalent of a roman a clef. It's how I see Hubbard, more or less,...
