norma jean! Glad you stopped in to introduce yourself.

I could relate to your intro. Good job having the courage to risk the horrid PTSness you thought you'd experience and brave the Internet. I remember that was a really hard step for me.

Not stupid at all. We were indoctrinated well. I was EXACTLY the same way. . . even after I was sure I didn't want to go back I was afraid to read the OTIII stuff -- thought I'd get pneumonia and die.

    Glad you're here. . . it's a great place.

    NJ!

Yeah, same here, I wouldn't ever so much as THINK a bad thought towards scn, thinking like you, that I'd 'pull in' something bad immediately, ya know?

But after reading webistes, youtube, etc...Hubby and I LEFT *just* *like* *that*.

It literally pops ya out of it, when you 'wake up' ya know?

Look forward to hearing more of your story sometime

I get really tired of hearing about how the lower bridge has value. The lower bridge has the sole purpose of getting the PC to reach for more bridge. The fact that many people improved their circumstances as a result of a good intentioned auditor being interested and caring about his PC is not worth the long term and intended result of Scientology technology. I can relate to that too. I muddled in it for 10 years before I found this board. Just reading here, and posting, has been more healing in 3 months than the whole prior 10 years were for me. It is so wonderful to be with people who understand, and to be able to joke around and laugh freely, and to express your own ideas without having to worry about hurting your eternity.
