In 1982 the City of Clearwater held hearings about a 1979 scientology kidnapping of Adell and Ernest Hartwell. They were deceived about going to Clearwater, FL, but ended up in Gilman Hot Springs, CA in the early days; with snakes, scorpions and bugs. The living conditions were crude, and scientology refused to let them leave.

This is quite a video. I just watched all of it. Well the part of the yelling, swearings.... is right and still in used right now. The staff are being treated like piece of crap. Not all the time but when something is going wrong. You can't do whatever you want because you are right away written up or put back into production. At the end of the video, it mentionned also data from PC folders or Ethics files being used against one. Well still in used right now. I remembered many times OSA (the person in charge of the external security) coming in and requesting PC folders and ethics files of people. This was used by them against others most probably.
My PC folders was used to get data before I left. In the legal document I signed, there was stuff in there regarding out ethics which had come up in auditing. This was done to used against me if I would speak. This is weird. I did not care because I wanted to get out. So I signed it. I knew another staff also who did not want to sign the paper so they put him back on sec checking for weeks until he decided to sign the paper. He did but to get out.
