Why was Bent sad about Sue?

I didn't know her that well but I knew Paul a bit as fellow musicians.
(Sue really avoided any course room study as much as she could. She had a lot of trouble in reading. But she was a sweetheart in personality.)

Sad because she was said to be still in Scientology at that time.
It made me sad too because she was a very nice person.
I cannot imagine what her personality is like now.

PG, there is another recently on another thread who said they were from Hawaii Mission.
That person asked about Riverside.
I hope they find this thread and catch up with us.

So, you are saying that Bent said that AFTER he dismantled Sciologos and started using his building for WOG businesses?
A "yes" on this would put the comment into a better time-frame for my understanding.

I would guess that she either went to the Buenaventura mission (with Tom&Cathy Steiner and Jim Hamre),
or Sarge in Northern CA (with Rodney and Joanie and others).

That would be a yes.
At that time he was renting/remodeling the Ethics area for the body building business that was moving in at the time (and is still there I think).
He was sad that Sue was still involved, and sad for his effect on myself and all others from his actions.
He stated that his book was his amends, as well as other things he has done in the background.
I accepted his amends for myself, because I had read the book and understood it.

Where he said she was at, I do not recall.
My file clerk hates names of places I have not been this life.
But I think he did say Tom and Cathy's names in the same sentence.

The East-side (of the stairs) of that basement was the HQS course room.
The West-side (of the stairs) of that basement was the HSDC course room.

I was a course sup on both of them at one time or another.

I am talking about the stairs back in the South Gym which led down to the Ethics area.
That is the location that was being remodeled when I had my long talk with Bent.
Maybe they have expanded from there up to the HQS course rooms, but I do not know that.

Since the stairs are perpendicular to the main street out front, and that is perpendicular to the freeway a few blocks away, I have been referencing those stairs as going East and West, with the freeway to the south from there and the Mission Inn as North North East from there.
That would make the HQS room on the South of the stairs, with the Comm Course above it.
The HQS room was where the Friday Night entertainment was at.

A friend told me that nowdays they only have 2 students and one staff, no auditors. They are very busy trying to sell the "basics"
