Thanks, encouraging others to sign up for St Pete Times monthly online edition. $5 and tell editor why.

The comments section are amazing. One person said he was in Clearwater, forget either Mon or Tues and it was like a ghost town, meaning uniformed SO. Would sure like to be a fly on the wall of those buildings.

I lived in Tampa for 4 years and Clearwater pretty much always has been a ghost town, since Scientology moved in. At first, not knowing better, with a nice name like Clearwater, I went to visit thinking we'd have a nice weekend there, but it was a real disapointment. I just can't understand why the locals put up with this for so many years.

Couple of things that I find surprizing in these four escape stories.

Amy Scobee was unaware and surprized that she would be declared! She expected to be treated fairly. - So, even working that high up in the church, the realities of that was unknown? Fascinating!

Well, might just be that I was where I saw or heard about this stuff daily.. I knew that declares was shot from the hip on whim. A near certainty for leaving, not completing the route out made it a certainty. (With the exeption of someone with a lot of money that he was willing to spend.)

My own story had a little twist to it. Even though I didn't cooperate I wasn't declared right away. That was because I promised to pay the freeloader bill, plus, my wife held a rather important post in a service org that actually made money at the time. She had a reputation for not takin' any shit and that org would be in deep shit without her. I think they didn't dare to disturb her family scene. Maybe she even told 'em to back off.. I don't know.. We did get divorced years later with reasons cited in KSW.

And Rinder, Rathbun.. They both got their private belongings! - Wow! - The GOEU blatantly stole my private typewriter! - Mewhaha! Not only was the GOEU such a lame organization that I had to buy my own typewriter and toilet paper.. They stole it when I left! Both the typewriter and three rolls of toiletpaper! - I asked for my stuff. I was outside a door with glass in it. The ESTO from the PR Office was inside refusing to open the door. I had to yell to be heard through the glass. She stared coldly at me, then left without answering.

Allright.. It was a used mechanical typewriter. It wasn't a great financial loss... Never mind the typewriter.. That cult owes me three rolls of double layered toiletpaper!

Ask not what Scientology can do for you, ask what the F#*¤CK is going on!

    I love it.
The Sea Org is going through way more people than it can take.

Yes Rathbun was so bad, that's why DM kept him on as IG Ethics for so damned long eh.:D

yeah.. That would be just like 'em.. Cheating basterds.. The basics are really low grade toilet paper, whereas what they stole from me was good quality that would wipe clean without papercuts, or leaving prints of Hubbard drivel on yer' buttocks!

Ya know, the real irony here is that, as much revelation as has made its way to print in the last few days, it's really only the tip of the iceberg. Hell, it's not even .001%, much less 10% like an honest iceberg.

And, downplayed as its been by the two 'Star' witnesses, Rinder and Rathbun, even this tiny bit of the truth will have the Cult shaking to its foundations.

Could you imagine what 'the whole truth and nothing but the truth' would look like? No; *nobody* can. Let the avalanche begin.

Let's have it from Tommy Davis. He's such a great help these days!

"The Sea Org is a crew of tough sons of bitches.. - The Sea Org is not a democracy. The members of it agree with a man named L. Ron Hubbard. They abide by his policies . . . and we follow it to the T, to the letter, to the punctuation marks. And if you disagree with that and you don't like it, you don't belong. Then you leave."

From his epic rant.. He may just have explained something important here. In many courtcases Scientology has gotten away with: 'Church Scripture cannot be made to be an individuals motivation' - Ie. The courts take the 'reasonable' view that people think and act individually.

So Church Scripture is not 'the motive'.. (As in Keith Hensons trial, where the mere mention of Scientology was denied.)

We all know that it certainly is, in Scientology. Nothing is said, done or even thought without a reference to a Policy Letter, observing revision dates. And that's not only the Sea Org..

This may come in handy at future trials where Fair Gaming is the issue.

I'm thinking also that it's illegal to incite to violence. Recall 'Ethics Conditions' and the formula for 'Enemy'.

He drove. Actually, he has a relative in Denver, and Mike doesn't live in Denver, but in Westminster, just north of Denver.
