Mental Vulnerabilities of Scientologists

Have you noticed that some Scientologists are very afraid of someone asking them A LISTING QUESTION here while discussing Scientology?

Or that they have a severe inability to joke about auditing, or pretend to audit each other, like two kids playing cowboys and Indians?

I think it's because, as Scientologists, we elected to be the effect of auditing. And we believed in "powerful processes" that would change us, or "Black" processes that would drive us MAD!

For the first few years I went on line, actually before the Internet, when I was a "modem rat" disseminating Scientology via a 9600 baud modem on Bulletin Boards, I would get heavy somatics when I first realized people were talking about "Zenu" and that Zenu was OT III!!!!

I freaked out. I felt gaseous. I needed to give myself assists. I always avoided any mention of OTIII.

It was a phobia. An installed phobia.

It's a vulnerability Hubbard cultivated in Scientologists, and they in turn cultivated in themselves, so they could go Clear and OT.

You simply have developed a mental vulnerability that has been exploited in you by Hubbard and by your group.

No need to be afraid.

They're just words and questions.

They only have the power that you give them.

I don't know of any listing questions, or warnings of the horrors of out-lists, for instance, in the Pentatuch.

I think we need some variety here. Semitic religion is just as good a target as Scientology or Hubbard.

I just noticed a vulnerability that I had as a Scientologist, and one that I overcame.

And one that I've noticed other Scientologists seem to have.

So I am targetting that vulnerability and calling it an installed phobia.

The intended result is people who are no longer mentally vulnerable in this way.

When I am puzzled by a person, I tend to visualize how he or she must have looked and behaved when a child. That tends to diffuse any reactivity and replaces it with a wonderment.
