Thread: Tommy Davis a spokeperson for a religion?

Arrow Tommy Davis a spokeperson for a religion?

I know you've seen the official response to the truth rundown and saw Tommy lie his face off to the press - but the interesting thing is in his choice of words. In describing the sea org and sea org members he says, "these are tough sons of bitches..." Seriously, could you imagine a spokesperson from the Vatican describing those who work in the inner sanctum of the Catholic Church using those words used by Tommy? He by using the language he used and by losing his mind the way he did discredits the "Church of Scientology" as a bona-fide religion and he later discloses that Rinder was a pathological liar - true because he was covering up as Tommy is now. But it is also very telling that the Church, if they knew he was such a liar would post him as a spokeperson. Extremely damaging to the "church" and self damaging - we hope to see more of Tommy and his self destructive rants!

I get really tired of hearing about how the lower bridge has value. The lower bridge has the sole purpose of getting the PC to reach for more bridge. The fact that many people improved their circumstances as a result of a good intentioned auditor being interested and caring about his PC is not worth the long term and intended result of Scientology technology. Tommy isn't the type to ever come to. He was always full of himself and still is.

Tommy is there to keep the faithful faithful - that's the overriding priority in today's scientology.

How he looks to us and how he looks to those still in is diametrically opposed - I'll bet he's a hero for standing up to those nasty SP types from the media.

The cult is increasingly in danger of disappearing up its own fundament - sort of like a black hole is about to be formed in the theta universe so to speak.:D

It does make for better viewing than anything else around these days.

Would you willingly put a bullet in your foot if you'd just watched the sock-puppet-for-the-vertically-challenged-rabid-dog blow both his legs off while "handling" the "bad PR?"

I think the silence from the celeb fringe is very telling - the cancerous little gnome has lost his Hollywood air cover it seems.

Tommy does not have a clue. The numbers within the church are shrinking rapidly and he certainly does not recommend the church to anyone who might be interested with his "tough sons of bitches" rant. Real churches strive to be more human, more compassionate and understanding, more decent. The C Of S strives to be quite the opposite apparently. He pretty much confirmed that there has been abuse in the Church for years and that it was tolerated. He also sounded rather unstable IMO. Let the fool keep on talking and as loudly as possible. He only hastens the church's demise.
