    Default NY Org 8/12/09

I went by the New York Org today. I had an extra two hours to spare so I sat around across the street from the building on the steps of the Richard Rogers theater. They sent out three division six people to hand out cards. The card handers were all the same usual suspects: Jim Duddy, Jessica Brimhall and Yaniv Wanerman. The activity was pretty slow, at one point a couple of kids came by shouting stuff at the Org then they chased after a dissemination table that was out on Broadway and 46th street.

I sat in the one of the beach chairs for a while on Broadway watching the scene. Was very funny to see Adam Hubbard the E/O NYF come out and try to handle them legally by besetting police upon them. Didn't work to his advantage, the cop told him to piss off instead.

I plan to go by again tomorrow night and check out the scene as the Foundation staff exit the building around 10/10:30pm.

Oh cool. This eye-witness kind of information is always welcome as it's not masked by cult hallucinatory PR. Moar Poasts!

I thought George was the EO and his twin brother Adam was a div6 guy. Those two must be about 21 now!

Their Mom is one one the execs I think...

But the world is full of Hubbards - and I doubt that many claim a relationship!

I'd do the same at my local org but there is quite literally nothing going on down there. And I mean nothing. :D

I had to laugh about them calling the cops on some kids. Now THAT's an effective way to handle a bunch of hate mongering little kids, isn't it?

that shit has been SOP for the hubbard twins for almost 2 years now....Don't get too confident in the abilities of NYC anon, place can be a dirty drama fuckfest much of the time.

I should know....I was in the middle of half of it. Nice to know they're still out there though, they managed to take in one defector in Spetember, not just an ex-sci, but full-blown anon, /b/-tard, etc.
Who am I? No one you care about....just passing through.

    Question New York question.

I was recently told by a friend that Gary Nakagawa died of a heart attack some time ago.

Gary was a lovely guy, an "OT", an excellent auditor, friend...and way too young and healthy to go that way, IMO.

The person was not totally certain of the data - does anyone know anything about this?

Hopefully, Gary is alive and well - but I would like to know.

Seeing how the place has spiraled downward so badly, I'm glad I routed off from NY Org staff back in '83. It really changed from the late 70's to the mid-80's, from a friendly environment to a stalag.

I knew a Gary Nakagawa in Scn. This was over 30 years ago. We were both on staff at the Mission of Honolulu. Gary left staff before I did, and I don't know what became of him after that. I don't know if this is the same Gary you're referring to. We were both in our 20's then, so the guy I knew would be about 60 now.
