Reforming the CofS is an interesting concept. Instead of the long laundry list of possible steps enumerated, organize a global boycott. Cut of the CofS's last diminishing resource..people. Scrap the entire structure. Release the original Dianetics and Scientology materials as public domain data. We (I) don't need another church. Make it all free to world for every person on this planet to decide for themselves what, if any, value is contained there in. Free to acquire, free to study, free to implement. People can co-audit themselves. Should individuals create groups for the purpose of structured learning academies for courses and auditing, let them, it's free data. Use auditing as an exchange for the needed hats through out a group. I see no reason to create another management, deciding who holds trademarks, copyrights or secret levels. To those who are interested in the money aspect this would present an some consternation. Are you doing this for money or have a higher ethical purpose? Think about it.

Good post! The way I see it is if you can go to the local book store and buy my Bible there why can't I buy yours there too? If you can come to my church and receive religious services for free why can't I do the same in yours? If you want to make an offering-fine, I might do the same. IMO a church should be there for it's congregation regardless of how much money they give to it. Isn't the goal supposed to unite and not segregate?

I'm taking it as a good sign that I don't find this idea very compelling.

As far as I'm concerned, any kind of successful reform would include winding back the clock to before the "Church" conversion, PLUS the wholesale removal of LRH dogma including Keeping Scientology Working.

There's a thin shard of Scientology that makes people feel good, and temporarily at that by most accounts I've read, but the rest of it is part of a giant money-making and imperialising scheme.

IMO the only way to save Scientology, and in the end that is really nothing more than a clever trade name, is to gut it and refashion it in the modern tradition of open source software. No godheads, no dogma, just real scientific method and a huge disclaimer that says "FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY".

It is not enough that staff donated their life to scientology for low or no pay 10-16 hrs a day: they still have to do amends, apply lower conditions assigned by an "authority" who own their lives.

I'm more tolerant of these people. What I see are LRH purists who think that way because they were trained that way. But its still a mystery to me as to who they are, and thats odd because I have more connections in the FZ than maybe anyone.

is that the parishioners money will be long gone into secret bank accounts.

Assuming these people are for reall and well intentioned, that money is for the parishioners, and some may justifiably be returned. Not possible if the money is gone.

Re " still want to control people with ethics", I see it clearly wrong to give a broad blanket condition. Far better get off any BPC with L1C or whatever,
PTS handlings, a blanket statement that all staff are PTS would be a more correct viewpoint than all treason!! Staff are the main victims. One to one rehabilitation by whatever means is the thing, not a universal blanket condition.

" What they stole is now ours". Refunds to publics would really need to be done on a one to one basis. Real big problem area. Many were in effect blackmailed and/or coerced. I'd say off the top of my head a new unit set up, new policies for it worked out. Those who wished to be COS members may perhaps get credit for free OT or whatever levels as exchange? Difficult area.

If this unit dosn't satisfy individuals they should be able to use civilian
law without prejudice.

Reform may be possible, maybe not. Iether way the church was built
by the staff and parishioners, the assets belong to them. If any good will can be scavenged it belongs to them. Putting them in charge is not easy, see
the history of governments.

Change though is inevitable. Best I can see we can only get an impriovement. I'd like to see much more than that.

It is too late for the "Church". The time to have taken out DM and having

limited damage to clean up is now 20+ years ago.

The SP won. Everyone else lost. Hard to confront, I know.

The whole story is on the net in rather great detail. If someone

will not look at it, than they will not ever see it.

We should continue to dry up the money lines of the "Church"

by whatever means, and leave them to wither and die.

Those who do not not have the integrity to cut through the

imposed disconnections regardless of consequences should just

review their Code of Honor and be left to their fate until the "Church"

can be brought to justice.


What would make better sense is to have the Freezone actively bring

into their fold pre-GAT trained people and show them that a good

living is possible, at least as an auditor in their group and get co-audits

going with what is to hand now.

The Freezone should be the recognized power and should for starters go

straight up against the "Church" authorities and Undeclare everyone,

particularly early Missions staff. This should be done in writing and under the

auspices of a "Reform Church" official looking document.

This Reform Church needs a membership with dues for a legal fund to fight

the "Church" in court going against their copyright claims where they have

not full legal standing anymore due to the changed basic texts and also the

Red and Green writings having been changed, so therfore the original writings

should be useable without copyright permission.

As some of you may know the new texts are not copyrighted by or for

Hubbard, as if you look closely he is not the author, but instead his name is

part of the title of the book.

These changed texts should be a red flag in a court of law and should in no

way limit the use of the original texts by the Freezone field.


Without a membership and legal fund dues the Freezone will continue to be

suppressed directly or indirectly by the high funds and dirty lawyers of the

"Church".

The C.S.T. stole the copyrights from Hubbard with a forged Will and that

should be provable in court (given ethical courts, certainly not a given now)

It's Board has NO Scientologists on the board (unless a traitor) and I

still insist it is a front group for the IRS, covertly, regardless of what Larry

Brennan says. The tax exemption from the IRS has so many holes in it that it

raises the most obvious questions as to what was given up to get it.

Being that the IRS has always been an enemy, and this is still made clear in

LRH's writings, the only logical explanation that makes any common sense is

that what was given up is the tech itself, with all of the copyrights (10,000+)

owned by the CST, whose original plan was created by Meade Emory whose

allegiance if it is anything, is obviously to the IRS.

Hubbard wrote in 1965 that he expected this occurrence. I should be able to

locate that reference for those who might want to see. I've printed it twice.


BTW, whoever could have fully indexed this subject of Scientology and didn't

is an extreme SP. It is just too hard to locate most references.

Factually in the early to mid eighties someone escorted me into the INCOMM

org, using the Complex south entrance off of Fountain and took me to a small

screen computer and showed me a Master Index of the whole subject that

had already been written. It was indexed with Key Words, so that you could

find any reference if you knew any content and if you knew multiple words of

that content it would narrow it down that much further.

For instance put "motivator" with "SP" and it would say these are found

together in the following references with the total number of those at the

top.
