"You are the architect of your own universe."

I'll have to remember where I found that one.

I listened to George Carlin in that (one of my favorite standup comedians).

I agree with him on some points.

BUT the counter against big brother megabucks capitalism is NOT replacing it with big brother gov't Socialism. That has already failed miserably. Let's not "go from the frying pan into the fire".

Now that I have listened to some more clips from Hubbard it reminds me of why I got "in" in the 1st place.

It sounds so good until you actually get involved. Then you learn the dirty truth by actual experience.

Hubbard was fond of spewing forth platitudes that people like to hear. However, he didn't seem to live by them himself. And the core of his organization didn't live by them either, in the end.

    Thanks for the link.

Thanks for listening. One can't accurately judge Scientology by Hubbard, or Hubbard by Scientology, although many have tried.

Hubbard admittedly had a case and no one is perfect.

Some things, however, are more perfect than others.

Some fine words from L. Ron Hubbard, the social philosopher. If only he had put them into practise in the society of his own creation.

LRH did to the best of his ability. There seems to be a "vibe" that LRH is supposed to be a "god" or something and can be "blamed" for everything happening under the name "Church of Scientology".

Did you forget that we live on a planet with some damned crazy thetans?

Some thetans are trying to "die" and some are trying to "live" and said thetans seem to enjoy taking other thetans and MEST along toward their destination.

And that is, imo, a more feasible reason why *individuals* in the CoS have done certain things...not because of LRH...full source and cause of every being on Earth.

But yeah, it's easier to blame a dead a guy for the behavior of individuals in the CoS as opposed to blaming the true freaks of nature who are bent on destruction and dragging other beings down with them...

    Oh hey, what's up Zinj?

lrh would have better posthumous respect if he had been known to "practise what he preached".

Actually, we would have a "clear planet" if he did.

Will that be cash, cheque or credit card?
