    hmmm...
You can't say Hubbard didn't toss out warnings about the scam he was running.

Those brief moments of honestly were his version of a Surgeon General's Warning

I remember in the 80's over the entrance to the SHSBC course room at Saint Hill UK. It said something like "Through these portals pass the most valuable beings in the universe" LRH.
I used to find that amusing.

Also, was it Ron that said? "If you wanna make money start a religion".

"THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN CONTROL PEOPLE IS TO LIE TO THEM. You can write that down in your book in great big letters. The only way you can control anybody is to lie to them."

That very quote set my mind in motion about Scientology. What's more, it was actually shown to me by my Scientologist roommate after I had told him that I was thinking about leaving the church because I felt I was being controlled.

His argument was that the church hadn't been lying to me, so therefore couldn't be controlling me.
So this is how liberty dies...with thunderous applause.

Wink From memory..on the PDC tapes (I think)

    Said, apparently, to his audience...

"Yawn once in a while - it's not THAT serious!"

How many Clears, auditors over class VI, OTs, that have been declared SP by the vicious dwarf in his donkey suit?

I asked a CofSer (OTV) about the large number the people that LRH personally appointed and his friends who were declared Suppressive.

She stated, basically, that those declared were "probably more than they were when LRH was there" (a la destimulation) and that they later "flipped into the valence of an SP".

And hell, I was almost declared over a decade later for something I did as a young teenager and for which I had been pardoned.

I guess someone missed the memo re: case gain and SPs and it's being thrown around in an effort to control and restrict people's communication (life).

(I received amazing benefits from my auditing)

But, it's all downhill from here!
