Default What would you have Aaron Saxton do?

Straight up, I am not Aaron Saxton's keeper anymore than he is mine. He is his own man, and is setting his own direction. Chances are that he may not like this post of mine, but like Aaron, I also do what I want to do or what I think should be done, a lot of the time.

    - It has been suggested that Aaron is angry. Well of course he is bloody angry! He is angry at fellows from the past, he is angry at what the CofS is getting away with, and who is anybody to judge that he is not MOST angry at himself?

    - It has been suggested that Aaron needs to find love in his heart for the victims of his actions. WTF? Who is anyone to judge that he has not, and why would they make that judgement? WTF do you think has been driving him to do what he is doing? I'll tell you......it's the love in his heart!

    - It has been suggested that he goes find his victims and see what would be needed to make up the damage to them personally. WTF? What on earth do you think Aaron is doing now? How exactly do you suggest that he makes up that damage?

    - It has been suggested that Aaron needs to sort himself out...Well who the bloody hell doesn't need to do that, and how exactly would you suggest that it be done? For someone in Aaron's position, what better way is there to sort through this stuff, than by getting out there big time to do everything and anything possible in an effort to right the wrongs, just like he is doing?

    - It has been suggested that Aaron has not put himself at risk, by coming out the way he has........Well, that's just ignorance!

Other things have been suggested, but I don't feel inclined to repeat them.

This "game" many of us are playing, is not about what was done to us, nor about feeling sorry for ourselves, nor about wanting retribution for Betty Sue who lives in Timbucktoo! It's about exposing the CofS and Scientology for what it is, and preventing people from being harmed in the future. A few maybe need to get their head out of their ass on this one, stop being selfish, and look at the bigger picture.

While I don't agree with every action Aaron has taken in the last month or so, he has been moving mountains with what he has been doing. He is giving his life to this, and at a huge personal cost. He is hurting, but he is putting that hurt aside to do everything and anything he can to make things right.

Because of his history, is he damned forever? Should he just crawl into a hole and be sorry, and propitiate, and beat himself up constantly? Or would it be better that he actually DO something about it? For those few who want to judge him on his recent actions, what should he be doing if not what he is doing?

To me, what he is doing now is admirable and he has more weight on his shoulders right now than anyone I know, because of what he is doing. And for the record, what you may see on the net is only a small part of what he has been up to these last few months.

How dare anyone try and stick the knife into him, at this time, for what he has done in the past. Yes, Aaron has adversely affected many lives. By his own admission he was an evil prick to many. However, what he is doing now is everything he can do, to blow the lid off the CofS, and for that he should be supported.......not have salt put into his wounds.

To those who choose to be "upset" with Aaron, over what he has done in the past, I'd suggest you go be "upset" somewhere else - Right now, it's not relevant, and it certainly doesn't assist our current endeavour!

-Man seems, spirit is. Man dreams, the spirit lives. Man is tethered, spirit free. What spirit is man can be.............What spirit is, the man, can, be"

He's one of the good guys, and I support him in making his own choices and decisions. It's immediately obvious when you see him speak that there is no duplicity in him.

I'd have him spend three months backpacking around the world to places he'd like to see.

    But his life, his choices.

As far as I'm concerned, anyone speaking out against Scn has clean hands for what they did before. It's the choices they make after that I care most about.

I'd also like to suggest for those upset at Aaron's actions while in Co$: you're being upset at a valence, not the source of that valence.

I am not upset with Aaron. Just for the record.

I get really tired of hearing about how the lower bridge has value. The lower bridge has the sole purpose of getting the PC to reach for more bridge. The fact that many people improved their circumstances as a result of a good intentioned auditor being interested and caring about his PC is not worth the long term and intended result of Scientology technology. Cool

I guess I am missing some goings on here.
From what I can gather there are some who would want someone to change everything of the past over night?

Overwhelm: That feeling you get when all your remaining OSA staff are out on investigations and Blow drills while the police are knocking on your door.
Scientology Ethics: When your LIES, OVERTS and CRIMES are required by your management because of PR or finances.
QUESTION: What is the only unethical thing you can do?

Sometimes I wonder about the world of us exes.

Aaron - go for it mate. You are kicking some serious ass.

And for anyone who wants to advise you on cooling it, or taking a break or dialing it back - tell them to get fucked.

Do things the way you think you should do them.

We all spent enough time doing things that someone else thought we should.

I've before given condolences for his extreme personal suffering.

He is seeking redemption. I hope he finds it.

He has admitted publically not only his sins, but his bad thoughts,
if you will evil intentions. Publically.

    That takes bravery, and balls.

Shows the dude is basically good.

Whatever he is doing he is hurting.

There's a thread here with photos of ANZO staff and you can see Aaron as a 15yo in the front down in the right-hand corner of the AOSH ANZO picture.

That's the Aaron I knew until I met him again when I flew to Sydney to meet with Senator Nic X etc. etc. (you all now the rest of the story there )

I was shocked at what had happened to him in the intervening years.

So for anyone to judge him who didn't know before, let me just say this:

If you want to see what happens to bright, loving kids who go into the SO to "put ethics in on the planet etc etc - watch what Aaron had become per his own admissions on his videos.

He's repeatedly said he hates the person he became in that environment and he still hates that person who isn't him but is still there and he fights against that constantly.

Whatever Aaron is doing is what Aaron is doing.

He's trying to make up for what he did before, and who am I to judge him for that?

He has my undying support, not necessarily for his actions past and present.

But for the fact he's trying his damn hardest to make up for the carnage that is Co$ and his part in it.

And he's sticking his neck out an awful long way to do so.

So if you pick a fight with him, you pick it with me too.

He's my friend, and I feel damn fucking proud and honoured that he is.

If he has no friends and everyone's against him
If he's failed in everything that he has tried
Try to lift his load, help to bear his burden
Let him know that you are walking by his side
And if he feels that all is lost and he is fallen
Try to place that poor man's feet on solid ground
Just remember he's some mother's precious darlin'
Always lift him up and never knock him down

I think he's doing just fine, actually. Although he could probably use more sleep than he appears to be getting. Other than that---rock on, Aaron.
