    notafraid!

I'm glad you got out before devoting too much of your life to the cult. Hope Fiona is reunited with her family soon!

Allan - your story takes another handful of bricks out of the cult wall - thank you so much for publicly telling it.

You're among friends here - if you need help, just ask.

And of course go to the protest without a mask - totally OK. Sure the Sydanons will love having another ex there helping them out.

Silly them, Allan. Glad you're staying involved with family and daughter, though. I can't think why the Sydney Org would be foolish enough to think they could change who you are. Maybe they just needed you to make some book sales...

    Welcome, mate

A big welcome to you imnotafraidanymore.

I introduced you to Scientology and I regret the day that I did this.

Sharing your story is appreciated. I was aware of some of it but not to the extent you wrote here.

You have had first hand experience of the Church's zero care factor and no tolerance for individuality.

Just as well you didn't give the Church all your life savings and that huge inheritance...

Your cousin known as 'Betrayed' here on the board is getting on with life and finding her feet here in this wonderful world of living life.

As for your other cousin the journey continues for her in the Church and we really want her to make contact personally and come home to see family.

Keep in touch and do well.

Looking forward to reading your posts here on the board.

Love to you and your girl.

Allan, Thank you so much for your authenticity and honesty in your post. Be who you are, and they can't tear you down. Face the fear as you have, and it loses it's power.

    Bravo!

You are gay and that is perfectly fine and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. There is no cure for the natural state of homosexuality just as there is no cure for heterosexuality. I'm thrilled you got out when you did at an early stage in your life. You have many happy fulfilling years ahead of you! Enjoy!
