The 1st Red Flag

For me it was the first day I walked in and the guy that they had me talk to -- don't remember his title (I'm forgetting my lingo -- Yay!)-- gave me the OCA , had a dirty ashtray on his desk. I remember being really bugged by the fact that a dianeticist was a smoker, and subsequently the fact that most of the staff members smoked like chimneys. Just didn't seem very "theta" to me, and not the greatest good for the greatest number of dynamics. It's amazing what you can overlook when you want something to be true.

Oh yeah, and the overflowing dirty ashtrays - no joke I used to get the "Chim Chimeny Chim Chimeny..." song from Mary Poppins going round and round in my head lol.

wishing now that my first would have been my last. It was just after I got to las Vegas and I had a cold that went in to a severe ear infection. I wanted time off to go to the doctor and they wanted to find out what I was PTS to!

Oh well that wouldn't be a first red flag, that would've been further on down the road. I mean as far as your first few times upon entering and org.

BTW, what was she supposed to come back as, a bull or an elephant? I'm under the impression that after one does that kind of "training" that she/he is supposed to be....what.....a big bully? There was a woman in the OSA office at the org where I was, she was a fat cow with absolutely no social skills. And I think she was OEC/FEBC trained.

I guess this could be another question in the category of criticizing Scient.
