Just finished watching the full show!!!!!! & big well done to James, Liz, Jordon & the others for this grand exposure How the Church honestly thinks they can get away with these crimes & have that daft Tommy Davis sit there in continual denial is just hystreical
This has got to be one of the best exposures in OZ, a very well done to all involved.

OK, just for Kiwis......

There were clips of celebs at the beginning, and Travolta in Haiti. They interviewed Joe Pieche (sp) , football player, who joined SO, got declared and lost his kids. Then Liz and James Anderson, who lost their daughter Fiona, but managed to get Jordan back. Both those girls went into SO age 14. Then to Laura deCresenzo who joined SO age 16 and was later co-erced into an abortion, and Claire Headley forced to have 2 abortions, to Tommy Davis adamently denying that the church would ever do that. Hana Eltringham gave her account of RPF, so did Laura, then Tommy had his turn at glorifying the RPF as a voluntary religious retreat, to Hana asking what drugs Tommy is on. Tommy got to refute every allegation made in the show. Sometimes he just outright lied...blatently.

Overall, a very good expose. Every allegation was backed up by other people who had experienced exactly the same thing, right down to scrubbing dumpsters as punishment. I am so glad he is tackling the forced abortion issue.

Edit: Man, you guys and the ABC are fast. Two pages of posts and videos up while I type 2 paragraphs!

What an excellent program!
James, Liz and Jordan and Peta were terrific - tears for Liz and a laugh for James for using the F word and therefore a warning of 'coarse language" for the program. Very well edited, woohoo.

An excellent presentation and what a remarkable person Liz Anderson was in her interviews. Her sincerity was in stark contrast to Tommy Davis' evasion and patently obvious lying. His TRs were appalling and he obviously hasn't passed his TR - Lie. Joe Reiache also was very effective and his comments about his children, was deeply moving. Then there was Hanna Eltringham, she was a gem, hey ... what about her astonished look when told that the RPF was a retreat. And Marc and Claire ... in fact, they were all brilliant and the production superb.

I liked it.
