"Man gets tired, spirit don't. Man surrenders, spirit won't. Man crawls, spirit flies. Spirit lives when man dies.
-Man seems, spirit is. Man dreams, the spirit lives. Man is tethered, spirit free. What spirit is man can be.............What spirit is, the man, can, be" - The Waterboys "Spirit" lyrics

"Scooter" to his friends
-----
If he has no friends and everyone's against him
If he's failed in everything that he has tried
Try to lift his load, help to bear his burden
Let him know that you are walking by his side
And if he feels that all is lost and he is fallen
Try to place that poor man's feet on solid ground
Just remember he's some mother's precious darlin'
Always lift him up and never knock him down

Nah. They wanted people - especially Australians - with Sea Org experience. A second consideration for all media is not telling the stories of people who've been very exposed already. Obviously, most of the initial Xenophon crew were non-SO and had already spoken briefly with Today Tonight. That didn't disqualify them, but the Andersons were perfect in every way (and Shredder too!)
Marty wasn't relevant this time.
There is a discussion forum on another part of the ABC website that is full of comment about the program:
