    Default Friendship

Board member's experiences in organizations bring to the fore a huge omisson in the Church. Friendship is not a stat. In fact betrayal of a friend, or refusal to do so, seems to have been far more important to the higher-ups than whether a person on post really cared about someone's well-being. It is karmic justice that Hubbard was betrayed by those closest to him since he apparently did not value or understand personal love himself, and if we look at his relationships with his wives and children I don't think there is another way to look at it. The "Love, Ron" at the end of his missives, and copied by others in the Church, is one sad joke.

Hear-hear. So sad but so true.
