From the March 16, 2010 Riverside County Board of Supervisors meeting:
Supervisor Jeff Stone proposed Ordinance 895, "Prohibiting the county From Requiring Project Labor Agreements [PLA's] on County Construction Projects." After various speakers expressed opinions for and against the ordinance, Supervisors Buster, Tavaglione, Ashley, and Benoit argued that the ordinance was not needed and voted not to take action. Supervisor Bob Buster began by referring to another unneeded ordinance which the Board was "stampeded" into adopting (Ordinance 884).
