    Default weird is all....

Its funny, having been on staff as a teenager, I was very against drugs ( for obvious reasons)
When I left staff by 2001 I still had the same idea.
I partied hard when I turned 19, and was always on a friday night.
I drank loads, always enjoying myself. But was genuinely disinterested in taking any drug actually.
Now I'm 27 and I've been smoking weed on and off for a few months.
I actually decided to stop drinking. Though the last couple of years I'd only have a few units at max 3 times a year.
I can't help but giggle tho. I used to lecture all my friends on drugs are bad.
(And no currently I'm not stoned

Absolutely. I smoked the first time a few months after I gave birth. But I didn't have trhe brainwash idea of oh my god ur taking drugs.
I've done it occassionally for a few months now. And its only now that I'm realising as much as I left the org young. I held onto a lot of it as well.
I've ended a few friendships as I disagreed with what they were doing or taking. And in all honesty they were young and experimenting
Today, we're all yuppies, own and run succesful businesses, have homes, great family. And the drugs didn't ruin their life.
Actually scientology has done more damage then the occassional blunt I think.

Maybe I'm just a bit more relaxed with the world I think

Yeah, SillyMe, no doubt that you are a lot more relaxed about the world. And yeah it's kinda "weird", but typical too.

I was talking with one of my kids yesterday, and we were discussing this issue. Some of the scio kids he grew up with have done a complete flip....gone from one extreme to the other. He was was saying how interesting it was that some with the most "judgemental eye" back when he was a teenager, are the ones who lost it the most a few years later. Now though, thankfully, it seems to have settled for most.

That's so true. My 2 sisters left the SO in 2002. Both just turned 18. The one had a rigid and strict moral code. And didn't date or do casual reltionships.
The other partied every night for abt 3 years. She's experimented. But made sure not to anything that will make her an

Thanlfully we started our lives. And it took a while adjusting to normal life. Normal life, normal people. Just normal is fantastic

Welcome to the board, lots of interesting people who may agree with you and who may not. But, one thing is for sure - its a safe place to say what you want to say.

Might not be the best idea in the world. But, I'm not in your shoes and don't know what you are facing these days.

Do you have more to your story? Feel free to post it we'd love to hear it.

    Nice to have you here.
