A while ago I scanned what correspondance I kept from my Org as a record in case they ever decided to enter my home & take any of my stuff (it's been done before). I was going to put these things up on the web somewhere but never got around to it or never quite had the guts (or both).
Now I've decided to post these things in a thread about my journey out as an example of what this "church" does to anyone who doesn't toe their line.
Background
I won't get into how I entered Scn in this thread except to say that I was quite a mess. Scientology kind of solved a bunch of problems for me and this is why some people find it so hard to give up. I used to go as far as saying that Scientology saved my life. Maybe it did. I was headed down a dark path that Scientology put a stop to. Well, actually *I* put a stop to it but used Scientology to help me. This is a hook that Scientology will use on people like me as much as possible. "Scientology saved your life so you owe us big time"...that sort of thing.
All I wanted to do was audit once I'd had my first session. It took a while before I actually joined staff, but once I did it was with the goal to become the best auditor in the world.
After a few years of musical chairs (I ended up being a posted as a Supervisor), post swaps, replacement finds and heated arguments I was finally back in the TTC doing what I wanted to do...training to be an auditor.
I excelled in the TTC. I was the first to pass the GAT Metering Course in Melbourne (although I had to go to Sydney at my own expense to do it), I was the first in Melbourne to complete the GAT 0 - IV courses, these were C/Sed long distance to AOSH ANZO as we didn't have a GAT Snr C/S in Melbourne. I was creating the GAT in Melbourne. I was their star. I was celebrated and held in high status.
I've attached some of my certs to prove I really did do those courses. I'm missing a lot of them. I never got a Pro TRs cert or HRD Auditor cert or a few others.
