Thread: Reincarnation a bad habit.

  1. #1

    Default Reincarnation a bad habit.

Does a belief in reincarnation perpetuate its continuation?
To be reborn in the flesh over & over again.
I don't believe anyone has yet really proven having had a past identity except maybe in sessions of Scientology & other belief systems of a relative nature. This can be of the imagination
Nobody has reported back from heaven or hell either.
I sincerely believe I have recalled having been of other identities in the past but the substance of these no longer exist only being now of the imagination.
I don't see though the purpose of continuing on & on being reborn in the flesh. I can often enjoy the fleshy experiences but how the body can become sick, injured, disabled, old & die or struggle in the pits of society can be nasty.
Its really only a meat product of unique design but continues staying a bad habit requiring always to survive.
LRH seemed excited about how he believed he discovered life must survive.
So what. Forced to survive no wonder teenagers can rebel as I did careworn about always repeating usually the same old shit.

Try eating a couple habanero peppers. I guarantee your next one will be different.

    jennifer,

the best thing to do is build up a web of trust.

I would recommend that you PM Kerry, MissDorfl, Fluffy, Terril or Olska.

    Why?

Because they think I'm an asshole, but at least they are informed in their opinion and are personal friends of mine in spite of that.

You can't ask for more than that now can you?

Default Always some thety weety replies

Enjoying been cynical I recall a time in Scientology when someone who was too sweet ARC'Y how nice everyone & everything is was looked at as thety weety. Smiling like syrup saving every little thetan around for the good of everyone. It disgusted the spirit but how can one argue against who requires always being nice always there for one always granting beingness never having a bad word to say about anyone & anything. I am afraid this still sickens me. Especially when more money is required for the next step to salvage the little thetan how nice & marvelous all is within the greatest group in the universe blah blah etc etc. We have all the answers all the solutions to all problems blah blah etc etc. Clap Clap what a wonderful succes story. All gaze upon the picture of Ron clap clap our source Thank u Sir for saving us Hear hear. On & on in the same tedious circuit. Next level when are u going to the next level over the bridge blah blah etc etc. Where is so & so Havn't u heard he or she was declared Oh my what evil people not even asking what they did. Like in the army never answer back yes sir no sir three bags full sir but what one can really think of them would make their hair stand on end. Ron with his sec check being paranoiac about what anyone could think bad or evil about him HIM my God how can anyone think bad about RON the light & the way. The same shit over & over again

Jenn, be honest, you planned the second post before the first or at least the second is more exactly what you want to say. That method is called a "lead-in" and is very popular since the advent of commercialization. Dicken's famous "It was the best of times, it was the wurst of times", I believe advertising German sausage, began it all.

Congrats on sharing your thoughts at any rate. You are not alone.

LOL! Now it makes sense to me: "It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a fife."
Jane Austen clearly took a back-hander from a prominent instrument manufacturer of the time.

Neither has anyone proven that we don't live again and again except by using the person's own poor memory as "proof".

Could you please look at the graph an explain to me where all the reincarnated souls are coming from? The human population began growing exponentially only recently in human history.

I didn't believe in reincarnation in my last lifetime but here I am again, still on the unmerry-go-round.

    Ideas for an increasing population:-

    1. How do animals do it? Presumably there are many more dogs and cats on this planet than there were a century ago. One answer - they split.

    2. Have you seen kids today? What thetan? Operating GEs. Think about it - it explains the popularity of dire modern music and reality tv.

    3. It's a bloody big universe. How many thetans are out there?

    4. Shunted down from Marcab prisons when vacancies become available.

    5. All those BTs audited on the NOTS band need somewhere to go.

    6. Likewise for the denizens of the six universes below this one (according to Hubbard) who are processing themselves up the line (hopefully).

    Cheers
