Which is, very simply, that when the owner and leader of the forum makes statements like "Scientologists are fucking stupid" I think its also important to take into account that Emma has stepped out of the Administrator position, and as such, she needs a chance to express her thoughts as a citizen of this board, rather than as a representative. I ask that you give her the same space to hold an opninion as you would any other board member.

I agree wholeheartedly that Emma should have the space to express her opinion as an individual, but in this instance, Emma deleted a forum which only an Admin could do, so I see where Dex is coming from and don't believe that the above applies in regard to this issue.

No. She didn't delete it. She locked it down i.e. made it "read only", it cannot be posted to any longer, but can still be read.

Personally, I wish she had deleted it. It's redundant since anyone interested in freezone marketing wins can join terril's group on yahoo or whatever. And as has been mentioned, no other group enjoys a similar marketing privilege here.

OK, sorry, I used the wrong word..........I meant that she deleted the option to go there and post.

BTW, I have no problem whatsoever with the fact that she locked it, coz I reckon that it doesn't 'belong' here. I did have a problem with her op though.....but I got and get where she was coming from.

To me there's two issues here........I don't believe that most would have an objection to Emma locking that forum, but I can see why there'd be objection to how she did it. The absence by some of the differentiation between the two issues somewhat baffles me.
