Yes, the yelling and screaming. Sometimes it's so quiet here I miss it.

I can't find any yellers and screamers in my environment any more. I hated the yelling and the screaming. Haven't heard any for a long time. And that's because they are all in scientology!

I recently noticed how calm I was, in fact. I'm sure it has to do with
being away from all that screeching, loud, in-your-face noise!

Everyone at my job is calm and pretty damn nice to each other. I was suddenly ill at one point a few years ago and I had a bazillion phone messages from people seeing if I was alright. Not one of them berated me nor made me wrong for not being on post or asked if I could come in anyway!!

There are virtually no conflicts, stats are great. production is consistent, people are fairly motivated and we don't have product officers screaming! We have a production meeting once a month and acknowledge our work and birthdays, get encouragement and mostly listen to our manager tell jokes. It's a fun environment and money is made. How do they do it without scientology? Go figure!

He'd have a conniption fit of his own. He'd find a 'Why' that's not himself or Scientology (Ref. The Data Series). Then realize that there are a third party who's a goddamed SP (Ref. The Third Party Law) and effectively scream at any and all staffmembers in in the org. Declare half of 'em and offload the rest..

With the org empty, he'd forgive them all (Ref. What is Greatness) and invite 'em back in demanding that they pay their freeloader depts, deliver an effective blow to the enemy, take a year on the RPF and start their 'Bridge' over... Ahh.. And make a substantial donation to the IAS.

You know what? I was going to say oh gosh, I didn't see that much yelling and screaming when I was in cuz first I was on staff at this little poky mission then later was kind of dilettanty- but I just realized...holy shit!! I DID see/hear yelling and screaming. The "OTs" who ran the mission where I was working on staff? The lady yelled and screamed and threw tantrums like every six seconds. She presented it as this result or byproduct of her being this incredibly powerful OT being.

Well, fuck. Just about everyone on this thread has read a ton of bulletins, heard tapes, oodles of red on white, yah? I'm sorry but where is the memo about screaming misemotion being high toned and OT and dynamic and totally wunderbar???
I am truly into myself, yes. And I'm just as interested in other people. When I'm not thinking of one, I'm thinking of the other.

In Orgs & missions they are forced to use intimidation and force.

If the tech worked how it was supposed to work then they wouldn't need to use these things. But it doesn't. So they do.

I think it's a severe stress release thingy, the same as that awful "I'm blowing so much charge" psycho laughter (Tom Cruise type).

I prefer the famous scientology screech to that freaky laughter (reminds me of nails being scraped down a blackboard) but it is lovely not to have to hear either!

There is HCO PL Ethics Presence, where Ron says, "As an executive you get compliance because you have ethics presence and persistence and can get mad." (Emphasis added.)

He also talks (doublespeak again) about applying the softer arts, blah, blah, blah...well, this policy and the use of "getting mad" was used in our org as a justifier for unholy outbursts, slamming doors, etc.

I remember that a good ol'faceripping was recommended to the sourse sup by the ED, as a good way to get people through their Pro Metering video. He figured that if she wasnt passing, it was because she didnt want to/couldnt be bothered/was outethics etc.
So one poor TTC member (who was bogged on the course) got yelled at by the Sup, at length, in front of the whole courseroom. I think she was in tears. It was one of the most horrid things I saw on staff, and I think it was one of the outpoints I wrote up at the end, that got me screamed at for being an SP.
Did it help? No, she still didnt pass.

The inner message to 'scream & yell' is "Make more money. More money. Make people make more money."

It is the insanity of LRon, carried over into the world he created for his adherents.

Lucky them (yes yes, I know.... It was many of you out there... :( )

    But now! &

    Live! (better than shouts?)

    Communicate!

    Dry the tears!

    Friends!

    Listen to them!

    Be pissed!

    Figure it out!

And carry on. Grow, learn and love. Have fun, if not for anything else, just to spite all the assholes who'd bring ya down.

My rant du jour, hm, iffin it even rates as one....

Ogs (goin' fer a smiley record, but out-lamed myself *sigh*)

Ya may not get it, but I really care about you guys, even tired and retired.... and semi-retarded (that'd be me),

A board is a running tally of "confirmed" income that will be in "for sure" by Thurs at 2:00pm (95% accurate over time). Total RAGE, blood pumping, red faced, about to have a heart-attack, blitzo, psycho rant!

    That was a daily occurrence.

It created a horrible work environment - "did the public at the FSO feel uncomfortable?... well they have no fucking clue what it was like being on staff there!!!!!"

I was pushed and shoved some over the years - but not a lot.

Got over-boarded into the FH swimming pool late at night with no public witnesses. Whole of Dept 5 & 6, both FSO and Flag Crew forced to watch me and my junior go off the diving board fully clothed (forgot to take the wallet out first ). Crime? Failure to close at least $10,000.00 in donations between dinner and end of night.

I treated it as insouciantly as I could under the circumstances and performed a semi-adequate swan dive in slacks, shirt & tie. As I climbed out of the pool, the product officer walked up to me and did NOT say "Arise a new being" or whatever bullshit they were supposed to have said on the Apollo.

He said, "Fuck you, you fucking faggot!" - in total Rage - like this:

Everyone secured for the night. No one else could look me in the eye.
This is the behavior of a CULT. Completely fanatical and off the charts nuts. These people have forgotten who they are, really.
