Thread: Hey! I might be a Mormon!!!

  1. #1

Default Hey! I might be a Mormon!!!

    Cult vs Cult!

Now Mormons and Scientologists are running IDENTICAL worldwide internet campaigns to recruit new members.

Hi, my name is Daisy DoRight and......."HEY, I might be a mormon!" (cue smile: 1:59)

Fascinating approach for the cults to try and overcome crushing negative public perception.

    * Make it look all technicolor lovely and normal

    * Interview a person who believes they are dedicated to a good cause to help mankind

    * Stay away from the crazeeeeeee beliefs.

    * Make it all sound all simple and common sense.

    * Hey, it works! Hey it's spiritual! Hey it can help you! Hey it's fun!

    * Hey, read a book!

These scripted, orchestrated propaganda pieces use innocent dupes to lure unsuspecting victims.

The films are short for a reason.

The end of the film (for a Scientologist) is on the editing room floor. You can see the missing footage right here on ESMB. Just read everyones posts.

    Scientology in one word? HelluvaHoax!

I never felt as free as when I freed myself from "Total Freedom".

For offended Scientologists reading this blasphemy about L. Ron Hubbard---my apologies for talking about real life without lying to you, like Scientology, with goo-goo theta-talk. I know you don't have a floating needle right now. You're not supposed to.

If I was asked to be either a Mormon or a Scientologist I would choose to be a Mormon.
I have friends that are Mormons and they dont push their religion on me. Their children are brought up well with excellent grades. Active in sports. They only have one spouse. They have a high standard of morals. Their church helps them out in paying for things like medical bills etc. when someone in their church cant afford it and needs it. I dont know anything about their religion and I dont care to. I found that they are fine, respectful people. I dont even mind if they go door to door promoting their religion, it doesnt cost me anything except a little bit of time in listening to them.

HH, are you alluding to the possibility of the Tabernacle of Mormology?
Ask yourself why a criminal totalitarian psychological mind control mafia wants to own your mind, heart, and soul while
hiding behind the name of religion, then you will begin to understand the manipulative evil of hubbard & his scientology.

Erm, should maybe be "Hey! I might be a moron!"

It'd fit in all over the place!

Yeah, just about anything is preferable to being a Scientologist.

I dated a girl a couple years ago that was on the verge of leaving LDS. We had fascinating discussions and discovered uncanny parallels how both cults "handle" parishioners who might want to leave.

I won't weigh you down with it, but let me just let you know that the OUTSIDE sugar coating of these groups is not the same as what happens INSIDE.

It is very ugly and renders people weak and guilt-ridden and terrorized about their spiritual fate--where they are easy prey to be "recovered" into the donating/tithing good graces of the mother church.

Koolade, CalMagade, Mormonade or any other kind of "aid" from such cults is fatal to ones common sense and control of ones own life.

Oh, I thought about that already. No worries,
cuz I put them right on the spot
and asked them directly if they were a
cult. They swore on their own holy book of
scripture that they were not. That's a relief!
Hey, you should come down to the center,

Default Hmmm, I might have an Insight.

Good looking people, who are well off in a society, expressing common sense thingies... Oh, and the nice "theta" music in the background! Nah. Good little traps though. LRH even let it to slip out somewhere about the power of a trap fused with aesthetics. He didn't lie on that one. Them little clues.

Funny you should bring this up, because I just heard an ad on the radio this morning about mormonism....and it sounded just like a Scientology ad!

Anyway, I don't think Mormonism is as bad, but it seems like they do practice "disconnection."

I know a teenage boy who got kicked out of his house (he is sleeping on a friend's couch) because he didn't want to go on a mission. His mother hasn't spoken to him for months. His father sneaks out and sees him occasionally. They don't help him financially at all. I'm against this, and any sort of shunning. Not enough to protest against though.
