If Rinder had a reason to fear that the BBC show wasn't going to air at all due to legal issues then I can understand why he would of gone ahead and done another interview.

Rinder DID hold off for months from doing other interviews and was criticized by others for this.

I understand that MR originally agreed to give Sweeney an exclusive, but I would like to know more about the circumstances at the time he changed his mind on this point prior to my declaring him an asshole.

Seems that those like Amy and Marty talking might just blow any investigation. The FBI asked them not to say anything but oh no they had to say something and now the CoS knows that it is going on. Can't people keep their fucking mouths shut?

Ummmmm, it was a Tampbay investigation. Joe Childs and Thomas Tobin doing their own research and confirming that FBI are investigating CofS as a follow-up on Lawrence Wright's NewYorker article.
This has been a 15 month investigation, it doesn't get "blown" by confirming witness statements.

Neither Amy, Marty nor anybody else "blew this" news. The FBI already confirmed to Larry Wright that the investigation was ongoing, as written in The New Yorker article:

"I [Larry Wright] recently spoke with two sources in the F.B.I. who are close to the investigation. They assured me that the case remains open."

Hmm.. Am I the only one regretting that this FBI investigation has seemingly been 'leaked' (By Lawrence Wright?) before the FBI wanted it to? - Maybe before they peppered Gold Base in Hemet with 10.000 microcams?

I just hope the FBI had enough of what they need. From what I've read, it sounds like they should easily have enough info on people trafficking - on immigration passport issues, false statements to immi, etc.

The statement that Scobee made, about her FBI interviwer telling her not to speak to other people in the building in case they have been compromised......well that got me thinking, that if that gets repeated too loudly, the FBI may have to act to avoid getting mixed up in suspicion that they are allowing the COS to commit crime.

I would like nothing more than to think the FBI were actually going to do something with regards an investigation into the scientology organization, however after at least 50 years to my own knowledge that law enforcement has not stopped this dispicable organization from committing high crimes against human rights on it's own followers, I am left feeling that it is highly unlikely.

I am listening to Larry Wright, right now and he he saying the trouble lies in the fact that this is a religion and people have to keep their faith.It is interesting that people do have this faith in an organization that purports to be a religion, but from my own experience on the Apollo, there never was a religion. It was a following of people who were highly misguided into believing the unbelieveable.

No sooner had my last posting gone live than I heard from a source that Marty Rathbun and Mike Rinder have gone to Washington D.C. Well, Rathbun is there already but Rinder is due to land about and hour from now, about 2:15pm.

My source tells me this is why they were sniggering. The little fuckers have finally registered that I and a whole lot of other people are pissed off that they have accomplished nothing over the past year, and so they came up with a sneaky plan and arranged this trip to DC.

The purpose? PR. Public Relations. Spin. Bullshit. Yes they want to see the FBI and the IRS and try cause whatever trouble for the church they can. But the main reason they have gone there is to create a PR moment, a photo opportunity, to ‘prove’ to everyone that they are being ‘effective’.

That’s right folks. These ass wiping scum bags have gone there with the major purpose of having photos taken of them in front of the IRS and FBI buildings so they can make it LOOK LIKE they are doing something. Don’t believe me? Watch out for the usual scum pictures of them on the web with their cheesy grins.

And then of course they will want the DONATIONS to roll in to fund their little PR trip/holiday.

Just today Rinder posted on Marty’s bog that the number one hate of the Independents is being regged for donations, especially when it is done on FALSE pretenses. And what do they then do? They use our donations to the cause for a holiday in D.C. as a PR front to reg us for more money. Every time they fit the bill – Criminal Mind; Accusing others of what they are doing. And of course, screwing us all over.

Follow the money and you understand these guys. They are Money Motivated and that is all. They are scheming, lying, traitors that are taking everyone for a ride. They will not pass muster with the the FBI or the IRS. Those guys have tests for their data sources – who are they talking to; what are they saying; what is their motivation; can they be trusted? Neither of the MRs pass on any point. That is why they have opted for the PR route.

I am incensed. These guys are genuine scum.
