And the reporter would be prepared in advance to expect the "shore story" and "acceptable truths" such as: "...it's free for staff members" or "many of our members take a class for under $100 and then audit each other for free after that".

The reporter would have in their briefcase a copy of the Grade Chart as well as a PRICE LIST. They would also be armed with half a dozen short video clips of former Scientologists testifying about the many hundreds of thousands of dollars they were charged to do those very same Grade Chart actions. For example:

OC (Orange County), once the most successful org on the planet, had their public bring in anything they had that might have some value, like watches and jewelery, so they could auction it off and get some cash. They are trying to pay the taxes on their boondoggle empty building.
