The video CCHR has "The marketing of madness", that takes the cake,
their own staged marketing events is exactly that.

Lurkers, hate to disappoint, but it really is a cult. Sorry.
I have a lot of faith in Today Tonight. It makes sense that they don't report on this until there's something to report, but it won't go unnoticed when the time comes. Delaying tactics are only that, and it must be hell to be Eastgate right now.
What the cult hopes to gain through delaying is a mystery... unless they're planning to wind up operations in Australia?
You don't have to worry about squirrels
unless you are a nut.
TT are definitely going to keep a watch on this. The cult doesn't want a 'mystery' because that is what keeps people interested. They want it to go stale. In my back end of the woods, I don't even get TT, so there are many Australians who haven't even heard of this case.

Jan Eastgate aka Janice Meyer is logged in for 9.30 at Downing Centre via the online court; so doesn't look like she will be appearing in Australia.

A contest mention is a step that is used to resolve matters that are going to be a contested hearing / plea of not guilty.
The informant is expected to attend as are you and your lawyer.
Your lawyer will have read the police brief, got instructions from you about what you want to happen and be able to advise the Magistrate’ what the issues in the case are.
The prosecutor and your lawyer will discuss whether the matter can be resolved before you get into Court. Charges are often withdrawn at contest mention as the Police may realize that they can not prove them or that what they are alleging did not happen.
The Magistrates’ will often give a sentence indication in a contest mention. This is where they will indicate to you what penalty you will get if you plead guilty at that stage. The aim is to save the Court the further time of other hearings of your matter.
You are in no way obliged to plead guilty and the Magistrate who hears the contest mention is not meant to hear the contested hearing.Often the Magistrate will give a common sense evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the evidence against you.
At this stage you lawyer will indicate how many witnesses will be called (if any) and whether you are disputing specific pieces of police evidence, such as a record of the interview the Police had with you.

I am not sure if Oz law follows English criminal law but in the UK it is illegal (I think) for the press to discuss open cases that have yet to go to trial.
Speculation is definitely frowned upon. Photography inside the Court is not permitted, but wonderfully drawn caricatures are. The media is allowed to report from copious hand notes a blow-by-blow account of the day in Court. Minors are not allowed to be named in the media and several on-air "egos" have been severely disciplined for breaches in this area.

It probably won't be like the scrum that the last one was, because she won't be there, but it is important for us to be there to get notes. There are things that press won't be able to pick up on that we will be able to pick up on here. Bryan would pick up on that, but he won't be able to report all of it.
Also I can't draw, but having seen here up close, she's ugly. Trust me. You don't want a sketch.
