The word Scientology is a pairing of the Latin word scientia ("knowledge", "skill"), which comes from the verb scīre ("to know"), and the Greek λόγος lógos ("word" or "account [of]").
how many of Scientologists speak two or three or more languages?
Of course question is usually for USA citizens,then Italy,France,Germany....
In those countries is higher procent of people speaking only native language (If I am wrong -I am deeply sorry). So just asking how many of you have learned another language directly because using Scientology skills?

FYI, in Western Europe almost everybody speaks at least one foreign language. And nobody learns a foreign language because of Scientology/Scientologese.

Hey, Captain, many years ago someone wrote a book for english/german speakers called, 'Gemischter Pickles'. Or spelled gemishter. I'm not sure which. Anyway it's zum SchieBen. I can't find it on the web. But I heard years ago there was a copy floating around in Wiesbaden. Could I importune you to see if you can find a copy in Germany? I'll pay you anything that's reasonable. Don't remember the author's name.

I didn't learn any new languages in Scientology. But, while on the net i have learned about many people in far away places because they type in english.

I can keep my eyes open, but you shouldn't hold your breath. Today I will be at the biggest bookstore in Europe (approximately four times bigger than the so-called biggest bookstore in the world in Toronto), maybe I can find out the author.
