Really now, joking and degrading is merely mockery in disguise.
Think a bit about it.
Create a universe that fights all the bad stuff by using all the bad stuff.... what's not to mock?
Make up your own version (price dependant), and fly in the face of logic and common sense! ............What's not to mock?
If they cannot take a joke? Kill yer cat? Make granny crazy?
What is not to mock?
Shooper-dooper powahs? Oh *derp*
Let the mocking begin. (Edit~disclaimer~ yup, it's never stopped)
J&D? If it wuz a drink I think I drinked it..... and will laugh myself sensible!
Yay me!
The humour in the silliness is one of the best antigens around imho, doh, maybe can kill it and use as a vaccine?
Inoculation For The Nation!
Rock On!!!

Nothing matters to me what is said or not said about LRH, is he a messiah, or a shyster or whatever. I don't know, to me it is all altered importance.
<blatant biased (mine) snippage>...
... No one on this planet has written so much tech to help people. No one. He did, not for himself, which is obvious. He did it for us. And that's the bottom line.My bold and colour within quotes.I totally agree guys. Yes it is startling to find some of his faults, but when you look at the proper evaluation of importance, you've got to give him a PASS. He didn't have to volunteer to come down here and salvage our asses. In this hell hole of a mess earth. For so many lifetimes. Getting pysically attacked and almost killed on several ocassions.
As a judge I'd say - "well sir, you made a few errors, so I'm going to have to take a couple of your lives away from your Ka - Khan. But since you've done so much to help this shi- hole planet to become a better place, I'm going to have to award you another ten lives. So you now have 18 lives left. Carry on...<snippage>

HCOB: Honesty and Case Gain
...Dishonest people have withholds, and withholds stack up mass and bring about stupidity. They cut the person’s reach and his ability to perceive. They hold in place the masses that imprison and pin the being at the level of Homo sapiens— and a miserable Homo sapiens, at that! Who is such a person really fooling?...
A human statue made of living stone / A paradox etched in human bone / If you could see behind his thin disguise /There`s a hidden glint of madness in his eyes. / Many men are fooled by his smile / His superficial grace his charm his style / Sardonicus is everybody`s friend /Sardonicus keeps smiling to the end.
That's one of the characteristics of tyrants ... they can't take a joke. That is what made the original Boston Tea Party so effective ... it was an act of political trashing, which can also be called joking and degrading. Nobody was injured, there was only minor property damage. King George over-reacted with the Boston Port Act and the other Intolerable Acts, which lead to April 19th, 1775, with General Gage marching on Concorde to seize militia supplies, the "shot heard 'round the world" and to the Unanimous Declaration.
Had King George said "Ok, I can take a joke, that was funny, you made your point. You are obviously upset, but, I can respect the way in which you demonstrated that. Before things get out of hand, let's sit down and talk, maybe we can work something out that we can all live with" or words to that effect, the US would still be part of the UK ... officially.
As I see it, the entire point of political trashing aka joking and degrading is to provoke tyrants to over-reaction, thereby allowing everybody to see their true nature.

I haven't looked at the links yet, but I swear I did not know if you are joking or not with those comments. If you made them up (hoax!!) then it's brilliant.
If someone actually wrote those comments on Marty's blog, I will read them and start to involuntarily line-cringe.
I am nervous, I will open those links now and look.......I have a feeling that people living on this planet actually made those comments.

Scientology in one word? HelluvaHoax!
I never felt as free as when I freed myself from "Total Freedom".
For offended Scientologists reading this blasphemy about L. Ron Hubbard---my apologies for talking about real life without lying to you, like Scientology, with goo-goo theta-talk. I know you don't have a floating needle right now. You're not supposed to.
Great analogy!!!
And what ensued after the tea party is startlingly similar too. . .
A rag tag group of guerrilla dissidents takes on a massive, well-supplied and financed army of uniformed automatons who do everything "by the book" even when it doesn't work.
That's (essentially) why the colonial forces kicked the British army's butts.
The CoS is that arrogant army, marching in formation, fighting their battles in perfectly ordered columns while the rebels took up any old positions behind fences or in a tree, sharpshooting the know-best redcoats.
The Church of Scientology has its tech and does it by the book. Same tactics, same fail.

"A person will never be free from Scientology if they use Scientology to explain Scientology - they will always be left with huge unexplained gaps that can never be answered because the answers Scientology gives are inadequate and false." - Alanzo
I took a quick look. It is the same old same old - some person seems to have been in Scientology for a LONG time. They couldn't stand various aspects of the operation of the Church of Scientology, they left, but while still trying to keep some aspect of the dream alive (aka "the delusion", Hubbardia, the Scientology paradigm). That usually means that Hubbard was an amazing genius who solved the riddle of Man. A few quotes for the link follow:
"Hubbard, was, if anything, a man. He was not a god, and he certainly is not, was not, this image of perfection, this pure crystal which David Miscavige and his PR machine have elevated him to – within the church of Scientology."
I got into Scientology in 1976. In the Boston org there were pictures of Hubbard everywhere. He had his "office" setup, as in EVERY org, just in case he "stopped by", with the token pack of Kools (that was changed every week by the LRH Comm to keep them "fresh"). There was NO tolerance of questioning Hubbard in any way. LRH policy and tech was 100% the ONLY way to go. Granted it got MUCH worse in 1979 when things like FDS, M9, and No Verbal Data came out (all by Hubbard).
By the early 1980s, the PR of Hubbard was constantly exaggerated through upper management lines, via the LRH Comm and LRH Pers PRO networks. It was an endless stream of fictional slop. And, all of that occurred based on EXACT LRH policy. Remember, Hubbard was the guy who originated List One, a Sec Check list that dug into any person's mind to make sure they had nothing but positive wonderful thoughts about Hubby Dub.
All Miscavige is doing is following existing LRH policy to help Hubbard "smash his name into history".
Another quote:
"In spite of the divine image created by the church in the past decade or two, Hubbard would have abhorred what they have done with his name. He would have said, “For Christ sake, tone it down a bit guys."
Hubbard would have "abhorred" the excessive adulation? Hubbard was NEVER known for toning down anything! He was always over-the-top, in-your-face "we will do anything to win". To me the author of this web area is consorting with grand fiction. But, what else is new and why would anyone expect anything else? THAT is what Hubbard and Scientology are - grand fiction.
Again, Hubbard is the doofus who considered "admiration" as the "most valuable particle in the universe". He loved standing on a stage with that goofy grin of his. He loved the attention. He set up the Church so that he WAS viewed as "beyond error", and as "basically perfect in all regards".
The best example of Hubbard's tendency to create a phony image about himself is his own biography - which was written, endorsed and foisted on members by Hubbard himself. WAY long before Miscavige entered the scene.
This line had me spitting out my coffee:
"He was a genius for his scientific and philosophical work in the field of the mind and the human spirit."
I guess what this web site shows is that seemingly intelligent people, even after getting scammed hard once in Scientology, can still entertain a fictional version of the world with imaginary people with imaginary qualities.
Hubbard's "scientific work"?
I suppose, in the end, believers want to believe. And, BELIEVE they do!
This web site involves an endless stream of this sort of gross nonsense:
"The truth is that Hubbard was a great man because he spent some 50 years of his life, carefully looking into mental and spiritual phenomena, wrote books and lectured about his researches and in the end, he helped to open people’s eyes to doors which they could neither see, or previously seemed closed to them".
"great man"?
"carefully looking into mental and spiritual phenomena"?
"his researches "?
Scientologists dramatize Hubbard. They, just like Hubbard, often simply make claims and statements, that are often entirely bogus, and then expect you to agree and believe the nonsense. Hip-hip-hooray!
"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts." - Bertrand Russell
"They must know how to kindle and fan an extravagent hope". - Eric Hoffer about the "true believer". "Total Freedom", "your eternity", and "OT" involve a few of the extravagant hopes in Scientology.
Go HERE to view and/or download the essay, "The Three Basic Scientology Beliefs".
That is a marvelous concept.
No money available for toilet paper but FP always approves a new package of Kool cigarettes...in case Ron "stops by".
This makes sense to a Scientologist.
Seriously, they would probably not think it at all odd if the packs were still being changed weekly 26 years after he died. Anyone doubt that?
Well, if you think this is silly, then why do they still maintain a fully furnished office for a dead man in every single org in the world?
How the hell do Scientologists do these clownish and illogical things?
Because they can "think with Ron's data". That's why.
I once actually had a Scientologist tell me he would only work with wog investment bankers "who can think with Ron's finance tech". I never called him back on the deal we were working on. Scary, scary stuff!
