    Default Kyle Brennan legal case?

Just recieved this from a friend. I never heard about this before.

Or is this old news I missed?

    -------------
"Five years ago in February 2007 20-year old Catholic college student from Charlottesville, Virginia, was also shot in the head in Clearwater in the apartment of his Scientologist father, Tom Brennan.

OSA massively re-arranged the crime scene hiding, destroying, and fabricating evidence. Kyle's mother Victoria Britton filed a wrongful death suit, which is at a particularly critical juncture currently.

The case is potentially explosive because Tom's auditor was Denise Miscavige, the twin sister of David Miscavige., and thus the potential for scandal in the case very great.

You probably know about both of these already. I don't know if they're just allegations and hearsay, or whether they are solid cases. He goes into a lot more detail about the Kyle Brennan case in a later email. I pointed out http://www.tampabay.com/news/courts/...tology/1207338 to him, but he says they're appealing against this."

Angry Re: Kyle Brennan legal case?

Hi Terril, not sure what you are asking for here, but I am just going to post some links to news and information on this tragedy. And let me say for anyone who might be lurking here, that it is very dangerous to suddenly stop taking some kinds psychotropic medication...it throws the patient into a psychotic break or suicidal overwhelming depressive incident. Stopping or changing medication should always be done under a physician's care, and usually done gradually to avoid a bad reaction like this.

His father may have meant well, but he did cause his son's death by depriving him of his medicine, just as much as if Kyle were a diabetic or heart patient, and his father had hidden his medicine from him. That he did so at the direction or urging of his Auditor, Miscavige's sister, makes the COS liable also. Even if it can't be proven in a lawsuit. This case needs to be made known far and wide to save any other individuals who may be dependent on Scientologists for their care from similar fates. It's a matter of protecting physically dependent people with medical conditions. Clinical depression is a medical condition, just like diabetes or heart disease.

I think this is what you want to see, about the appeal of the court's denial of Kyle's Mother's case in December, but I am including a lot of other information for the Newbies and the Lurkers to learn from: http://dockets.justia.com/docket/cir...ca11/12-10024/

Here he is all dressed up for some event.maybe the prom or a school dance? Good looking kid! What a loss...:

Here is Kyle riding a school bus with a friend:

    http://www.metacafe.com/watch/155278...f_scientology/

"“According to a complaint filed in Florida federal court, an adult son, Kyle Brennan, visits his Scientologist father and he has with him a prescription to Lexapro for depression and social anxiety. The Scientologist father lives in a complex with other Scientologists and the father is instructed by a church chaplain to take away the son’s Lexapro so he locks the medication in his truck. On February 16th with ready access to a loaded gun, the son shot himself in the head.”

Kyle Brennan was born in Virginia in 1986 and was baptized a Catholic.
He was buried a Catholic by his mother, Victoria, in 2007.
Kyle died whilst visiting his Scientologist father (Tom Brennan), in Clearwater, in 2007. Kyle’s father, being a Scientologist, and being apposed Psychological medicine, pilfered Kyle’s medication and hid it overnight in his truck.

When Tom Brennan returned home that evening, Kyle had shot himself in the head.
Finding his son dead, Tom Brennan called the Church of Scientology and, after a long discussion, they decided to send Jerry Gentile to Tom’s Apartment.
Jerry Gentile arrived 45 minutes later.
Jerry Gentile is married to Denise Miscavige (the sister of DAVID MISCAVIGE, the Head of the Church of Scientology).
David Miscavige took the decision to call 911 and request an ambulance for Kyle.
This telephone call was made roughly 90 minutes Kyle Brennan was found dead.
Kyle Brennan, like Lisa McPherson before him, was declared Dead on Arrival at hospital.
The Clearwater Police found Kyle’s medication hidden in Tom Brennan’s truck the next day.

Kyle's father was more concerned with protecting the interests of the Church of Scientology that he was of saving his son's life.
He was also guilty of negligent homicide by depriving his son of his medication.

If you want to protest about Kyle’s murder by Tom Brennan, Jerry Gentile, David Miscavige and the Church of Scientology,

Yes, you can fly, but first you have to break out of that cocoon. You are capable of self rescue at all times. Kyle's father is a real moron.

Who, in their right mind, would walk in and find their child, or anyone else, shot in the head and call a church instead of an ambulance?

    He's a bloody idiot!!!!

The rest of them - from the church - are bloody idiots too for waiting 90 minutes to call an ambulance. Unf**king believable!!!

It damn well should be appealed!!!!

I hope they hang the bloody bastards out to dry!!!!

Cult policy requires members to go through the cult first on any legal matters regarding a Scientologist. Of course it's fucked up and a good and valid church wouldn't require that. But, yeah, that's why.

Believe it or not, alot of people with a strong religious faith, would do so. Except, in Scientology. it's more of a policy matter than one's faith.

When my older brother committed suicide, my father's first phone call was to a Mormon bishop and then to 911. And he refused to allow the paramedics & police into his house until the bishop gave a blessing to my brother (similar to "last rites" in the Catholic Church).
