Does anyone know what level Marty Rathbun achieved while in the Church? I'm curious, and I don't recall reading it on his site. (Unless I did and forgot. I'm not Clear, you know.)

"Disconnection, Fair Game, derogatory and discriminatory labeling of "SPs" and "Wogs," dirt-digging on perceived enemies, "dead agent packs," equating of criticism of Scientology with criminality, hostility toward homosexuality, journalism, psychiatry... David Miscavige didn't create these policies (though he's done a bang-up job implementing many of them), they're entirely a product of Hubbard's paranoid, megalomaniacal mind" -- Tony Ortega

I believe he achieved the level of pathological liar.
I am OT III and I forgot...
The levels say something about your persistence, maybe, and possibly an individual could say he found himself changed in <insert change here>, but they don't impart any certainty of integrity or power or ability.

I could be totally wrong but I thought if you were able to audit a level, you also had done it? All the bullshit with Marty, ESP his claims of doing all his super special training on his own while a prisoner on the Freewinds make it impossible to verify anything, but he claims to be a class Vii or something who owns class 12 auditors and has to show them how its done. He offers auditing at all bridge levels so I guess he thinks he's an Oh-tee 8.
I think since he was such a good enforcer for DM decided to let him do whatever the fuck he wanted to auditing wise as long as the EP was compliance, DM was happy. Marty was good at auditing to compliance.
I think it was OT Less Than Zero
All Scientologists are Ex-Scientologists. They just don't know it yet.
Good post.
He's offering the services of a Class XII. Did he actually do all that training? Did he do the briefing course?
I'm slightly doubtful, but it is said that he assisted Tom Cruise with his OT levels?
From memory of what he has said, he trained up to Grad V, but Q'd and A'd so much with the checksheets reading extraneous material and listening to extraneous tapes that he figures he's equivalent to a Class VI.
I believe he was properly trained as NOTs auditor (Class IX), but Class VIII isn't a pre-req.
Mostly in the CofS you don't need to have received a level to audit it, except for "confidential" levels. Exact pre-reqs are on the large Grade Chart (CofS link) here.
He says he was sent in (by DM I think) to the FSO Ls HGC to sort out the Class XIIs who were screwing up and audited better than any of them. He wasn't formally trained, especially as he never did Class VI and Class VIII (pre-req to Class X).
Official case level? I think he got onto Solo NOTs (more or less properly).

Marty talks about his - rather non-standard - training here: http://markrathbun.wordpress.com/200...side-the-wall/
Also worthy of note is that the first thing he did upon returning from his RPF on a cruise-ship (where he *didn't* end up cleaning the bilges) is to introduce the e-meter into ethics and pts interviews, including CS Series 79 interviews.
