Some great comments on the blog:

Cameras in the courtroom? This is just too good to be true. All Scientology ridiculous and draconian arguments will be documented on camera. Something is telling me that the media circus around the case would convince Scientology to drop the case.

    ..........

"Your honor, we are unable to proceed with the case at this time because of the presence of a Suppressive Person in the courtroom will adversely affect our case."

    ............

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOM GOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGO MGOMG!!!!!111ONEONE!!!!11. Ortega and Childs in the same place covering scientology, I'm as giddy as a school girl!

    .................

No whining? Scientology will probably try to get another judge then. They always use a lot of whining in their cases.

    ...................

HOW am I supposed to concentrate on WORK with this stuff going on? This is too exciting (and funny) for words. I can't believe the GALL of the CO$ trying to not allow the the defense attorney to make an opening statement because it violates the gag order that he's trying to get struck down. The irony and hilarity of that is just over-the-top.

11:26 am. Rinder and Rathbun have been excluded from the room because they will be witnesses.

    hmmm....

What's up with that? Why are R&R witnesses?

I guess they'll be testifying as witnesses of abuse at Int Mgmt, conditions in the Hole, etc.

    hmm....

So much for keeping this on the topic of "did they violate the agreement or not"....

This is interesting. I wonder where all this is going.

Well they seem to be arguing that the agreement is invalid because it was signed under duress. Her atty's opening statement was re: the abuse she suffered there. Mike and Marty could offer corroborating testimony on the conditions she says she endured.

    It's fascinating though, sure enough!

This comment really is the bottom line, IMO:

That the Court allows Debbie's lawyer to detail the the abuse she received (without interuption) and allows the media to be there to record and report it is perfect. No matter the out-come of the hearing her story will be heard and reported - this is devasting to Church PR.

Louanne is out and trolling @mikeboard1200 's every tweet with her "dead agent" comments.

Most recent was: @MikeBoard1200 Thanks. Can your phone pull up websites? http://bit.ly/xYXpSH
which directs to her website and before that

@MikeBoard1200 Learn something about Scientology. Like this: Squirrels are to Scientology what Warren Jeff is the to the Mormon Church.

    I don't like that girl.

Yes, it will be. I suspect this is the beginning of a series of actions desinged to dethrone current management. What's most interesting to me is that the key defense witnesses clearly want to take over Scn Inc. Can anyone tell me if any of these leading independents plan on changing anything besides "beating up staff" and "saluting the dog"?
