Gag me. Somebody scanned the Scilons' press release and published it. And all the disingenous sucking comments are made by culties.

I found the opening paragraph very interesting;
"The Church of Scientology International is opening a 45,000-square-foot church in the Arcadia neighborhood of east Phoenix as part of an ongoing effort to expand the church’s presence worldwide."
It jarred me because that one sentence seems to tell you exactly what they're doing, they're expanding their presence. They're not doing anything with or from that presence, just kinda existing in a physical location and owning it, as if that points to some form of expansion of scientology. They're not actually doing much except Being There.
It's rather odd. Maybe they're Waiting For Ron?![]()

No longer a scientologist.
I don't believe everything I read on the Internet.
I do believe everything I write.

This is wild speculation, but ... perhaps DM is friends with someone high up enough in the power structure ... with a high security classification ... that has been telling him now for years that open disclosure of ET contact will happen extremely soon. If that is the case, DM might just make out. On the day of open disclosure, a whacky UFO cult might become very popular indeed and the idle morgues will be idle no longer. Don't know if that is true or not, but, if DM believed that, the idle org campaign would at least be somewhat understandable.

Is the phoenix org very big? With all the positive comments it's like the queen bee lives there.
"The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it." ~ Albert Einstein
"Sometimes experts use their experience not to explore the future, but merely to protect the past."~ Dr. Michael Hewitt-Gleeson
The last time I briefly visited Phoenix within the last 4-5 years, the org was very small. Shockingly so. Maybe 11-13 very dedicated, long-time staff working their fingers to the bone. Shocking in that it's been the "birthplace of Scientology" since 1952. It's gonna take roller skates for 11 staff to cover 45,000 square feet.
