Marty says "April Fool!"![]()

Yes, you can fly, but first you have to break out of that cocoon. You are capable of self rescue at all times. "Every blade of grass has its own special angel watching over it and whispering, 'grow...grow'." -The Talmud "I am still determined to be cheerful and happy, in whatever situation I may be, for I have learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our disposition, and not upon our circumstances." -Martha Washington
If you need any proof whether or not someone is insane, they confirm it
with the revelation "April Fools !" ( Type 4-PTS)
Despite what you`ve heard Marty has posted again since his "Hubbard`s history is a crock... "
There is no mention of April or any other month for that matter.
What he has posted is...
Marty explains why his site is called "Moving on up a little higher."
Actually he could have called his site "Staying in a little longer."

SweetnessandLight says "thank you" for this post

"L. Ron Hubbard is the cult leader for the crime that is Scientology." - Cleverbot
"And while we're at it I might as well toss this in for a good laugh. We were doing a lot of "research" on Rockslams at that time and one of the Hubbard thing's rockslamming items was...(oh you're going to love this)..."unlimited wealth"" - Mystic
The dismantling of Hubbard's lies was probably the most decisive factor on my "x" membership status.
I call it pulling the rat out of the cellar...there ain't no putting that sucker back!
Once old L Ron's ink cloud is pierced the squid is plainly in view.
On the L Ron Saves The World thread there's a quote from Heinlein and the atomic bomb:
Fits old L Ron, too.But in so far as the bomb was now an inexorable fact of existence, and, as Heinlein so colorfully phrased it, "You can't turn the sausage back into a hog," . . .

"Disconnection, Fair Game, derogatory and discriminatory labeling of "SPs" and "Wogs," dirt-digging on perceived enemies, "dead agent packs," equating of criticism of Scientology with criminality, hostility toward homosexuality, journalism, psychiatry... David Miscavige didn't create these policies (though he's done a bang-up job implementing many of them), they're entirely a product of Hubbard's paranoid, megalomaniacal mind" -- Tony Ortega
Um... no. Hubbard was much more than that. He defrauded people in a (successful) attempt to artificially generate the respect, admiration and riches that were denied him by the Powers that Be, because they were smart enough to realize that he was a useless, self-aggrandizing blowhard.
Hubbard's intentions were not to help mankind; they were to help Hubbard. He was a narcissist and I'm pretty sure he was a sociopath.
And yet he still has people doing his dirty work by trying to clean up his image (which is what the above sounds like to me, Mark, to be honest). No need - he's not an eternal Thetan who needs his name cleared. The fucker's dead and gone, and good riddance.

I was a true believer. Back when I was in the cult, it could do no
wrong. LRH was mankind's greatest friend. Somehow the hand
writing on the wall never seemed to materialize.
Then came the finance police that plundered the missions and
put people like me on the street even though we were the most
valuable beings on the planet. I was still a card carrying member
who took a regular job so that I could continue to audit my pcs.
Then came the illegal declares of my mission holder and the closing
of my mission. Stories were going around about Hubbard going
insane and lots of financial irregularities. I continued to think like a
cult member and, though I was now forced into doubt, I decided
to do my own investigation.
I drove to LA and, following directions from the Zegal tape I had
been given, I found my way to the cult's top secret HQ. I saw the
infamous ship in the desert and was challenged by the security
guards. I drove home by way of Santa Barbara and visited the
AAC. I met David Mayo and ran into my mission holder. The talk
was about saving the tech. David Miscavige was blamed as the
bad guy who usurped the comm line from LRH.
I went back and began to audit for the AAC. We were an island
of "standard tech." We continued to apply things based on the
laws of ARC, The Code of Honor, and Hubbard's other codes. The
only thing wrong with the cult was David Miscavidge. Eventually
legal reasons caused the term AAC to disappear and we became
an independent organization.
After a few years I drifted away from the there out into the world,
still thinking like a cult member. I had Ron's quotes framed on my
walls. I still used the tech and even helped people I met, using it.
Fast forward to 1996, I discovered that the cult was in a war with
the internet and it piqued my curiosity. I began to read ARS and
was led to other critical sites. One message I read pointed out
that all of the stories about Hubbard's life were lies. Then the
message went on to point out, story by story, the actual facts.
Hubbard wasn't a war hero. He wasn't blinded and crippled at the
end of the war. The man was a liar! I went on then to read about
the rest of his life finding out about bad checks, bigamy, outright
fraud and the insanity of his shipboard adventures.
The last straw was seeing that even the stuff that actually did
some good, wasn't even his. I was finally done with the fat man.
Just the fact that once someone is out from under the duress of
the cult to not look, eventually the truth will set them free. Even
M&M will get there eventually, unless they begin to force their
followers to wear the same blinders.
