You know I saw her coming but I didn't hear her go

Yes. Though less hypnotic and more social manipulation, I think. There is a carefully designed pattern around how things are done that doesn't need hypnotic assistance. There is peer acknowledgement and pressure, you can't talk about case (and discover that there is no such thing as "standard" in a result). Etc.

Yes they are...
Now i will throw this into the mix one of the most pernicious aspects of this is this idea that a reactive mind exists and that it is something to be rid of. Only in the last week have i arrived at the conclusion there is not a reactive mind as Hubbard describes it. Try chasing something that does not exist! How's that for manipulation!!!

And that is what they are trying to fool libraries, businesses and schools into helping them do - spread Scientology and make new scientologists.

'Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones. I am not afraid.'
