Some more from Marty's blog from the other day:

"Virually everyone whom I have met who knew L. Ron Hubbard personally described him in words to the effect of 'larger than life'."

The message seems to be that RON was such a big being that none of us smaller beings can judge him fairly, so let's humbly accept what he has given us - his teachings - and just be grateful that he bothered to come to this mud-ball planet to help us.

Since this is Marty's 'Book 1," and about Miscavige altering the "tech," etc., this isn't going to be an attempt at an actual biography of Hubbard.

It's interesting that no Scientologist - inside or outside the CofS - has ever managed to write an actual biography of L. Ron Hubbard.

These are a collection of coffee table books.

Does Marty have what it takes - that being consummate bullshit artistry - to be the first Scientologist to write an actual serious biography of Hubbard? I doubt it.

It's deeply upsetting to me to believe that I was part of a group that could easily put a label on a person and that person could then be treated per the label, whether it fits or not and that person has no ability to challenge it. It's the worst sort of fascism. I'm ashamed to have been a part of that and defended it, but I am glad that I also questioned it time and again and only believed in the bits which I thought were good. I was probably the only PC who read anti-Scientology books in the Org!

The way the elderly and those no longer of use are treated in Scientology is disgraceful. There is NO social care and no real friendship if you don't nod your head in agreement to the status quo; definitely true in the Freezone as well. This is a major flaw in my opinion. Thank God this cult is not growing but shrinking.

Look at everything, read everything and make your own minds up. Don't get stuck in the one way traffic.

I also won't allow Scientology to turn me against my beliefs in reincarnation and spirituality which I held long before I got involved. It has no right.

He has no right to write this book. He has disabled himself of these rights through years of espionage, abuse, criminal activity, physical violence, insanity, manipulation and mind control and down right criminality. A biography of Hubbard should be written by someone completely independent of the subject.

Well, they say it takes one to know one. The qualities you give to Marty certainly seem to make him a potential expert on Hubbard.

"Scientology, well understood, is a very powerful thing. Poorly relayed, poorly communicated, monopolized or used exclusively for gain, it could be a very destructive thing." - LRH June 1955
+ He told me he was obsessed by "an insatiable lust for power and money". - circa 1980 Mayo on LRH =

It seems that Marty's cliffhanger may be hanging for some time, so I'll trust others to notice when he reveals the nature of the deadly virus, etc.

In the meantime, here are some people who knew L. Ron Hubbard whom Marty appears not to have consulted.

The pattern of Hitler's rise to absolute tyrannical dominion over his people (and others) is clearly spelled out in his earlier mad ravings, including Mein Kampf. From the book "Holocaust of Words; A Review of Mein Kampf" comes this example:

Now consider for a moment what Hubbard has "foreshadowed" in his sacred scripture.

Hubbard's utter hatred of "psychs" and "SPs" and "1.1's" and "low toned" people and "homosexuals" and "squirrels" was spelled out with great clarity in his books and policies.

Hubbard did not mask his "final solutions" but in fact proudly trumpeted his "technical breakthroughs" wherein these theta parasites would be "disposed of without sorrow". His Fair Game policies gave license for murder.

It does not get any "Clearer" than this.

Had Hubbard succeeded to rise into political power, there can be no mistake what the result would have been. We saw it in Hitler. It is not an exaggeration and it cannot be dismissed with a snicker as "Godwin's Law". These are real lessons from history that are either learned well or ignored with nightmarish genocidal results.

And now we have career thug Rathbun come along, seeking to publish whitewashing "odes", essays and books that are designed to tell yet another succession of Big Lies about Hubbard and his true nature.

If anyone wonders how people like Hitler rise to power, it is with little unnoticed steps like this.
The parallels between Nazis and Scientology are too numerous to invoke Godwin.

Both born from the occult...elite cadres...paramilitary...creating a utopia by recovering some ancient pure state...glory...status...gestapo...concentration camps...secret dossiers...the state is ALL and everything is subservient to that...magik...madmen...one moment of weakness and the pack tears you to bits...factions jockeying for power...the list goes on.

There's an interesting book called The Day The Bubble Burst that is not a conspiracy book but rather just a historical view of the crash of 1929.

As worthless as our money was during the Great Depression one U.S. dollar was equivalent to three million German marks, per this book.

There were Nazis long before Hitler and they, including Hitler, were always a very small minority, not taken seriously and laughed at as preposterous, or so I understand from the history I've been exposed to.

It took desperate times to call for desperate measures and the abject, extreme poverty of the global economic collapse brought this about. People turned to the Nazis to recover dignity and it worked!

The Nazis factually brought prosperity back to Germany and, arguably, the world.

Like Veda warns, Scientology is going no where, there were Nazis before, during and after WWII and there are still Nazis. The fact that they are rendered powerless at present does not stop the fact that they and their mentality are extremely dangerous.

I think Scientology would be even more destructive in power than the Nazis ever were and we're fortunate that Hubbard never got the opportunity to prove this wrong or right. At least the Nazis brought prosperity, however fleetingly, to Germany.

In this way the Nazis are more honest than Scientology! The Nazis openly stated what they would do and did it! Their "tone level" was anger and they were overt about goals and actions.

Scientology is dishonest - although open about attacking 1.1s and SPs and all that the real hidden goal is to fleece everyone of their wealth. Scientology is the ultimate covertly hostile group.

Had they come to power...or if some catastrophe brought society to its knees and people looked to Scientology for answers and its "stable datums" then we would truly see an Orwellian nightmare.
"Religion is free; Scientology is neither."

"If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face — forever." - George Orwell, 1984

"L. Ron Hubbard is the cult leader for the crime that is Scientology." - Cleverbot

"And while we're at it I might as well toss this in for a good laugh. We were doing a lot of "research" on Rockslams at that time and one of the Hubbard thing's rockslamming items was...(oh you're going to love this)..."unlimited wealth"" - Mystic
