Trying to get things fixed within Scientology when the problem is about Scientology is utterly absurd. It never happens. It CAN'T happen. When you write up any report that mentions some outpoint about the Church of Scientology, it is viewed as CRITICISM, nothing EVER gets done about it other than YOU get addressed as the "actual problem".

It is the same old same old Hubbard KSW mentally of, "what did YOU do wrong"?

Write a report up lines? Total HORSESHIT!

People have written up KRs on the "out-tech" nature of the 6-month checks, and guess what, MANY got declared. The same pattern repeats itself over and over.

It may be a simple matter of, "what, cut our GI? - DECLARE the bastard"!

Or, moreso, it is probably that the Church of Scientology has the worse out-Grade IV ever known, and ANY criticism of any sort, no matter how valid and based on FACTS, is slotted as "natter of a person who MUST have horrible crimes against Scientology", and the result is always and only "severe ethics actions".

Nope, it is impossible to get anything done in that bat-shit crazy group by "writing a report up lines". Sometimes I get the notion that the KR "report uplines" gimmick was setup as a way to monitor and catch any person who is being even the slightest bit critical of any aspect of the Scientology scam. And, if it wasn't setup that way, it sure works that way in the real world.

    Exactly!

Here is the KR I should have written. . .

    THINGS THAT SHOULDN'T BE REPORT

    Scientology in one word? HelluvaHoax!

I never felt as free as when I freed myself from "Total Freedom".

For offended Scientologists reading this blasphemy about L. Ron Hubbard---my apologies for talking about real life without lying to you, like Scientology, with goo-goo theta-talk. I know you don't have a floating needle right now. You're not supposed to.

I was having dinner with 6 or 7 Scientologists on Thanksgiving in about 2000. All were OT III or above, and most had done some of the L's. Two were on OT VII. They had been around awhile. It was an energetic and lively affair, with lots of animated discussion. There hadn't been that much talk about Scientology.

At some point I mentioned, "hey, did you see the new definition of the second dynamic in the ethics book?" I gave a little explanation about how exactly this re-definition as "creativity" was entirely absurd, and how it did not and could not fit in with all the many other extant definitions.

I knew that two of the folks there agreed because I had casually discussed it with them previously. What happened? The room went totally quiet.

You could see the chaos behind the eyes of a few, as they seemed to mentally work overtime to reconcile this "data" with what they saw as their "proper stance" on Scientology and management. It was scary (to me), because I had too often seen these "high-confront" people get involved with all sorts of mental gymnastics when faced with something that didn't quite fit in with acceptable behavior and the Scn party-line.

A few seemed to SQUIRM. A few of them gave really typical "avoidance" answers, based on their obvious previous brain-washing, such as 1) "RTC safeguards the purity of the tech so whatever is released MUST be accurate and correct", 2) "you shouldn't be saying things like that", and 3) "you should report it on proper channels and let management sort it out".

The fixed ideas in the room were palpable! They refused to look at the possibility or the actual facts, because they already KNEW that such an alteration could never occur!

It was like watching a broken record of deeply implanted behaviors play out - actually, I was already all-too-familiar with these many manifestations of deep behavioral control caused by a combination of 1) an over-indoctrination into Scientology "data", and 2) too close of an affiliation with the severe control of the Scientology organization.

I was saddened that these people who claimed to "practice personal integrity", and who "had such a hard-fixed glare of confront" could not face a simple example of a REAL alteration of LRH data (note: the altered definition of the 2D was changed back a few years ago, or so I have been told). Of course, they would not go anywhere even NEAR the idea that this alteration might be caused by "those in power" (management).

The responses and reactions included a total refusal to discuss anything, deflections and dub-in (crazy assumptions) such as "that could NEVER happen with RTC in charge", and attacks on me - "you should NOT say such things, you could upset people, you are enturbulating me".

"You should go to Qual and sort out your confusions". Yeah, right, like I am going to PAY Flag to try to "adjust" me to think other than I already know to be true, so that I can conform to some crazy unspoken BUT real Scientology behavioral MOLD.

It was highly educational to watch such idiotoc displays of severe indoctrination play out as most refused to even consider the notion that an alteration could exist in theit "church", and that it had been CAUSED by their "church".

None would LOOK at the "facts of the matter", or discuss the overall details of the LRH data. I was told by one, "that is verbal data, that is out-KSW, knock it off"!

Within a week there were two KRs writtten on me.

Such is life in Hubbard's Church of Endless Idiocy.

Also, ALL attending the dinner were called in and interviewed by the Flag MAA.

    Yep, gotta keep the sheep in line . . . . . .
We were steeped in so much cognitive dissonance, that it was hard to tell what was true and what was hype.

Perhaps the strangest thing at your table was that there were 6 or 7 bright, capable people who considered themselves extremely "freer" than the rest of the world yet were unable to give an honest appraisal of a dramatic change in doctrine.

Excellent story GF! This is exactly the kind of example that should be shared with Scieno's who are in. We're told repeatedly how the truth will stand on it's own EXCEPT when it comes to discussing the truth of the "tech". The "tech" is all about faith.
