    Default Rathbun's book - REVIEWS!

Amazon books - reviews of What's wrong with Scientology?

    http://www.amazon.com/product-review...reative=380553

Just in case anyone wants to post any reviews of Marty Rathbun's book.

What Marty's followers think is predictable, and what the CofS thinks is predictable, but I am somewhat curious about what the non-aligned "wogs" think.

Are there any "wogs" out there who've read this book and have reviewed it?

Feel free to deposit any REVIEWS, good, bad, or indifferent, here.

    Best review so far. Copy/pasted from Amazon.com;

"It's remarkable how Marty Rathbun blames virtually everything wrong in Scientology on David Miscavige, Scientology's leader and his former boss.

Hey, Marty Rathbun, some of us can remember the 1970s and 1960s. Scientology was nuts then too, and so was L. Ron Hubbard, your hero. "

    Let the games begin.

The reviewer also gave the book 5 stars, which made no sense to me unless he pressed the wrong extreme by mistake.

Whatever jibes we are making about it, per its Amazon page it is ranked #109 in books right now. That's pretty damn good. That is ALL books, not #109 in

Books > Religion & Spirituality > Other Religions, Practices & Sacred Texts > Scientology > Hubbard Apologists > Thugs

I wonder if it will crack the top 100?

    -----

Here's an article on how to get in the Top 100. Guess he blew it by not reading the article first and following its advice, but he still might accidentally slide in. Looks like 500 (genuine) sales in a day will make it.

That appears to be the plan, as discussed over at Marty's blog and enthusiastically endorsed by Marty: to place the book on a particular list by purchasing a certain number on one day, which I guess is today.

Here's my favorite so far...it's a comment to Vinny's review:

    Mariella Hosseini says:

"What is Wrong with Scientology?" is a great read for those who are truly looking for TRUTH. Marty Rathbun is a descent and honest man who has the ability to differentiate between right and wrong. If you are truly a truth seeker then I would recommend that you read this book and think for your self.
I guess I'd agree with that "descent" part.
"Religion is free; Scientology is neither."

"If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face — forever." - George Orwell, 1984

"L. Ron Hubbard is the cult leader for the crime that is Scientology." - Cleverbot

"And while we're at it I might as well toss this in for a good laugh. We were doing a lot of "research" on Rockslams at that time and one of the Hubbard thing's rockslamming items was...(oh you're going to love this)..."unlimited wealth"" - Mystic

It's been several hours and the reviews are stagnant at 7 five star reviews. That's not a good sign, if this is the big day when all the Marty people should be buying the book, and pushing the book, with tone 40 intention.

Any word from "Wog opinion leaders" Mark Bunker or Tony Ortega about the book? My guess is that both will be treading softly and being diplomatic.

Still no reviews from any other "wogs."

That paltry 7 reviews is disappointing.
