Mail Online: Former Scientology chief claims church 'brainwashed Tom Cruise's children and turned them against Nicole Kidman'

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...le-Kidman.html

    Excerpt:
Mr Rathbun told NBC’s Rock Center with Brian Williams: ‘...they were being indoctrinated, and they were reporting to Tom on how that was going in my presence.

He claimed that church officials told Isabella, then nine, and Connor, then six, that their mother was a ‘suppressive person’, which the church’s website, , defines as ‘a person who seeks to suppress other people in their vicinity.’

He said: ‘It was more than implied....[Kidman] was somebody that they shouldn’t open up with, they shouldn’t communicate with, and they shouldn’t spend much time with,’

"that she - while no genius herself"
    WTF? I call bullshit.
I don't see anything in katie Holmes' behavior that suggests she is anything less than capable and courageous. She outwitted Mission-fucking-Impossible, man. Assigning that courage and resourcefulness to her Dad isn't justified by anything but your own preconceptions.

I know Will Smith doesn't really belong in the line-up. He's not a confirmed clam, and his sexuality doesn't, ahem, qualify to be in the Village People. If you see what I mean. But there are so darn few black Scientologists! (Wonder why...?)

    In The Sea Org
(tune of In The Navy by the Village People)

    Where can you…

    Learn to forgo pleasure,
    Pluck the WOG's of treasure,
    With admin technology?
    Where can you begin to,
    Think you're super human,
    Revel in your insane glee?
Where can you learn to lie,
Act like a James Bond spy,
    All for Scientology?
Come on board the big scam,
    Help the public clams cram,
Comm ev all your enemies ...

    (chorus)

In the Sea Org, yes all your property they'll seize,
In the Sea Org, yes they'll erase your mind with ease,
In the Sea Org, Scilon's make your final stand,
In the Sea Org, yes they always need a hand,
In the Sea Org, first you sell your mother's land,
In the Sea Org, come on and shuck your fellow clam,
In the Sea Org, you'll become a super man,
In the Sea Org, In the Sea Org!

They want you! They want you! They want you for a billion years!

    For RPF Adventure,
    Don't you wait to enter,
    The S.O. Liaison office fast.
    Don't you hesitate,
    There's no need to wait,
They're betting on how long you'll last.
    Maybe you are too young,
    To join up today,
but don't you worry 'bout the thing,
    I'm sure there will be,
    Always the evil Sea Org,
    protecting Scientology.

    (repeat chorus)

They want you! They want you! They want you for a billion years!
They want you! They want you! They want you for a billion years!

But ... but ... but ... life sucks in Clearwater!!

Hey ... hey ... look, men ... I get sick just watching it on the
    TV!

    THEY WANT YOU!!

    Oh shit!

    THEY WANT YOU!!

What am I going to do on the EPF??

THEY WANT YOU!! THEY WANT YOU!!
In the Sea Org. IN the Sea Org.

Cruise and Mismanage could suck Suri into Scientology, it's true. It would require a cynical, lengthy campaign of manipulation and outright lies... but it could be done. Love-bombing a child isn't impossible for a cult with several thousand members who think that this would be a good thing - and with a pile of cash to make it happen.

The thing is, though, assimilating Suri would be a PR disaster. Katie Holmes wasn't "Katie"; she was "Poor Katie" in the eyes of the world. A victim of Scientology's manipulations. Run Katie Run, etc. What's to say that Suri wouldn't equally become "Poor Suri" in the gossip magazines, if she has to start spending holidays at Scientology cult facilities.

Journalists would love to report a scandal. Scientology's claim that children are "big thetans in little bodies" - coupled with the history of abuse in Scientology - is enough to feed the rumour mill for years. If Scientology lasts long enough to turn Suri into a messed up young adult, the damage will be incalculable. Scieno-arrogance and Tom Cruise craziness might still make them try, however.

Poor Suri. Life as a pampered celebrity Scientologist probably wouldn't be too bad, compared with the horrors the rank-and-file have to endure... but I still wouldn't wish that lunacy on anybody.

A small improvement on yesterday's shoop, in the interests of accurate portrayal.

We thought the cult wanted Tom Cruise to settle this quickly and bury the bad news, but...

Tom Cruise lawyer threatens to sue National Enquirer

Tom Cruise's lawyer has threatened to sue US publication the National Enquirer, over a cover story branding the actor "a monster".

Bert Fields said the article about Cruise's split from wife Katie Holmes contained "false and vicious lies".

The lawyer said it would cause Cruise "hundreds of millions of dollars of professional and personal damages".

The Hollywood Reporter posted details of his letter to publishers American Media on its website.

Scientologists just can't help pulling it in, can they?

    KH a fem hero

    http://news.yahoo.com/why-leaving-to...nist-hero.html

    ...

Howling about his newfound potency on Oprah Winfey’s couch in 2005, Cruise meticulously impregnated Holmes, who was soon portrayed in the tabloids (and even in fashion magazines) as Rosemary in “Rosemary’s Baby”—a zombified vessel for Cruise’s cultish designs. Cruise, of course, is an avowed Scientologist, a soldier in that madcap confederacy for showfolk, and their dupes. Scientology has a goofy cosmology and an extremely ungoofy policy of hair-trigger litigiousness and extortion. The combination is frightful. (See Tom Cruise’s own promo.)
    ...

As celebrity disputes go, Holmes has pulled off the biggest rout in memory. What Tina Turner did for battered women by breaking away from Ike, Katie Holmes has done for spouses and children suffering from religious abuse and coercion. She fought bullying with bullying. She beat Tom Cruise. She beat Scientology. It’s not too much to call her a feminist hero.

Tom Cruise Didn't Pay Katie Lump Sum in Divorce: http://www.tmz.com/2012/07/13/tom-cr...t-no-lump-sum/

I think from now I'm gonna play the "opposite game". I believe the opposite of whatever Tom and Scientology says to be true. In this case that means Tom payed Katie at least $50 million

Tom Cruise did not pay Katie Holmes a lump sum in his divorce settlement, but he will pay handsomely in the child support department ... sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ.

Our well-connected sources tell us ... reports that Katie scored $50 million are "ridiculous." We're told she did not get a lump sum of money at all

She probably got exactly what the pre-nup agreed to - perhaps so much per child, and so much per year of marriage. How much is the question.
Cautious as one crossing thin ice . . .

Or you Scott, this is for you too. I hope you are out.
    Kay is out . . .
